Immediately remove all my clothes. A female me is one of my biggest fantasies.
It took six replies for somebody to say that?

I'm very disappointed in you Escapist.
Disappointed or horrified?

Wonder how I managed to stumble across myself 12 years ago, I guess.
Wait...I don't quite...I can't...what?

You see, now I'm deadly curios as to which way around it was.

Sex. No, really, why not?
I'll admit, I agree. We'd both be up for it and desperate at this stage.

Either that or play some co-op Katamari Forever.

We would become friends and destroy everyone else with our witty/sardonic comments.

I'm a woman. I used to not be (like, really, assertively not, downright sexist, lol). Given that aroundabout 12 years ago my gender switched on me, me about 12 years ago is my opposite gendered self. :)

I'd probably be set for life. A gaming friend, someone who I could have in-depth discussion with who won't think I am psycho, and with enough intelligence to create a duo that could take over the world.

But.. on some level, I already have met this person in my own mind, and they live with me every moment in my thoughts. Perhaps not quite a physical manifestation, but they do exist. :)

That idea is probably what keeps me single though. I don't want to be with other people when I already have myself.

Wait, it just switched abruptly? Was it one of those 'poker with the witch' type of events?

I'm not sure...I want to find him here though!
"Here" as in the Escapist, or where you live?

OT: An opposite sex version of me...hmmm. Well, no one can like me as much as me, so I'd say I'd ask her out.
Here. Guys where I live usually just want sex, and while it's one of the things I want, it's far from all I want.
Don't you have Iris for that? She's everything you need, right? Love, emotional support, the whole nine yards?

I considered posting the image for the Twing Twang reference from Yahtzee's Heavenly Sword review, but decided against it

OT: After further deliberation, I have come to the conclusion that a female version of me would be nothing short of awesome, as she would be the only person I've found who would love The Lord of the Rings as much as me.

Probably laugh our ass off for our antics for a few hours and get fed up with each other afterwards. All in all, it would be pretty dull after a while because you can only add that much flavor to yourself.

What would you do if you met a clone of yourself except they are the opposite gender?
I don't know. Am I cute?

Oh damn, you're not a genie.

Umm... I guess as long as my female side isn't too weirded out with hanging out with her male version of herself, Hang out, watch movies, play video games, see if maybe I'm anymore interesting then myself...might seem to be...

My head's about to explode.

Hm...Is the personality of said person a clone of mine as well? If so, that would be...strange. If the personality is in tune with mine, but not an exact copy, I'd be more open to that. Meeting a girl that looked just like me and had my same personality would be disturbing. Meeting a girl that looked just like me, had a personality that was close to mine, but also acted like, and had personality traits of, a girl would be much more fun.

Seriously, it would take some time for me to get used to seeing a female version of myself in appearance.

Depends on whether it's just a genetic duplicate or more of a transporter-accident double that would share my thoughts, tastes and mannerisms.
I wouldn't be that excited at meeting a girl who looked exactly like me. On the other hand, you couldn't ask for a better partner than someone who literally shares ALL your interests. Sadly, our children would be half-wit mutants but I'm confident she wouldn't mind adopting.

I blame puberty. And when I say 'abrupt' it's difficult to quantify. It probably took about a month or two to completely flip, because I remember being fine, and then being really upset for ages, and then figuring out -why- I was upset and it making a huge amount of sense. Presumably the first flutterings (or lack thereof) of puberty triggered stuff in my brain that set me off when it started to figure out that it wasn't actually wired up correctly, and it took me a while to interpret the cause correctly.
