My choice is The World Ends With You. Simply a great game and I really would love it if Square Enix would expand on it.
TWEWY was a great game, but partially because it was complete in and of itself. So many games are released nowadays as planned trilogies, or become trilogies after achieving a modicum of success. TWEWY introduced a creative, moving plot with interesting characters and then wrapped it up in the same game. Many people say Bioshock didn't need a sequel for the same reason.

As much as I would like more of the art style, characters, world, and gameplay of TWEWY, I think it's better off without a sequel. The only exception would be if it took the Bioshock Infinite route and chose a different setting and new characters, but subtly tied in to the original, and even then you could barely call it "The World Ends With You" because the idea behind the title was fully explored and resolved in the first game.

I couldn't agree with you anymore.

we need another KotOR. I know thats a 3rd, but it is SO necessary.
God yes. Sure we are getting TOR, but it just wont be the same as a KOTOR 3. I want to actually see where Revan went dammit!
Oh I think we'll find out: http://swtor.com/media/trailers/mysteries-knights-old-republic

Searchbar. Seriously, I need it! Oh well, this thread hasn't popped up for a long time so it's alright.

Ahem, a game that I think should have a sequel? Dawn Of War. Expansion Wise.

There is going to be a sequal to that one... on the PS3... I'm just not sure if it's going to come out in the US... but yea... look it up on youtube... there's a trailer for it and everyting.
I hope it does come out in North America. It will always be my favourite PS2 game regardless, though.

I really wish they'd make a sequel to Legacy of Kain: Defiance.

Or better yet... make an RTS that covers Kain's conquest of Nosgoth.

I love how he tells Midway they don't need to cuss to get their point across, and then the next thing out of his mouth is "fuckin a!" in regards to Earthworm Jim.

Anyway I'm not looking through 6 pages to see if anyone said this already, but Mega Man Legends 3. Sure it was hinted at recently but fuck hints, let's see something concrete.

Also, where the hell is the Jak and Daxter game for PS3? Yes Naughty Dog, third person shooters sell and you seem to be good at making them (except for the MP, you failed massively on that one), but that doesn't mean you have to flush all creativity down the toilet. Forget Uncharted 3 and another copy/paste from Uncharted 1 with new nouns plot like Uncharted 2 had, put your creativity hats back on and give us Jak!
(Lost Frontier on PSP was pretty good, but it wasn't by Naughty Dog and it wasn't on PS3. Let's see what they can do with it already!)

Oh, and Body Harvest. Come on Rockstar, there's some potential there. I know you guys like your stories now (see GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption) and you tell them quite well, but blasting the hell out of aliens is fun too!

If I had the choice, I'd say Psychonauts... Oh god how I'd relish a sequel.
Don't be silly, Ols. Psychonauts is perfect as it is!
It's a perfect piece of perfect perfection - but that Ending was Dripping with sequel potential...

is that a book cover or something? that image is really well done, or is a BG3 in development??
Baldur's Gate 3 was in development back in 2003/2004 but was cancelled when Black Isle shut down. And I agree that the proposed cover is beautiful.

Not a direct sequel, but there should definitely be a 'spiritual successor' to Jade Empire. While it wasn't the strongest Bioware game, it was still a unique experience, and there should be more RPGs that break out of the unfortunately permanent 'sci-fi or fantasy' molds. A Modern Day or Call of Cthulhu Bioware RPG would be superb

It's got to be Timesplitters 4. Timesplitters kicked and still kicks so much ass it's unbelievable. Though it would fuck the storyline up.

Mirror's Edge, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, and perhaps Jade Empire. I loved Jade Empire.
