Resident Evil 5. The series was perfect at 4 Capcom, why did you have to ruin it for me?
Resident Evil 5 was pretty much an exact copy of RE 4 with a different setting and a co-op mode :0 May I ask how RE5 ruined RE4 for you (however this is possible)?
He's saying that Resident Evil 5 ruined the series for him. I still liked it, because I love co-op games, and I love Resident Evil. And any game played drunk instantly gets twice as good as it originally was.

It's been said already but Final Fantasy X-2. Biggest pile of garbage I've ever played.

Resi 4 & 5. They were fun, but I agree with mspencer82 that they really weren't Resident Evil games, they didn't have the feel of Resi Evil games, for one thing they lacked zombies. I'm gonna go ahead and declare that zombies are a pre-requisite of a true Resident Evil game.

Also, a pre-emptive fail on Too Human 2.

Do the CD-i Zelda games count? Because me and I'm pretty sure everyone else wishes they never happened.

Which one? The general consensus seems to be that the first Final Fantasy was by no means the best (with strong arguments for IV, VI and VII to take the top spot).

I'd love to disagree, and prove you wrong, but I can't. This, I guess, is the only constant thing in the entire universe.

The Half-Life 2 episodes. With the time they're taking they might as well have released them all in one as Half-Life 3.

Any of the numbered or subtitled Sequels to ALIEN!*

*Aliens was neither a numbered nor subtitled sequel, it's just Aliens.
;) That's a pretty brave statment, seeing Aliens is, together with Terminator 2, always mentioned together with the sentence "better than the original".

The sequel that should never have been made was Riddick (the second movie). For fucks sake... unbelievable. How can you go from PITCH BLACK to this?!
Resident Evil 5 was a dumbed down, shorter and more annoying Resident Evil 4. They finally had a good inventory system in 4 but they, of course, got rid of it in 5. 5 is also ridiculously short compared to 4. 5 had better weapons in my opinion though. Recycled bosses and enemies. 4 had the Regenerators, 5 didn't have a really cool enemy like that. But it did have the Lickers, which was a nice surprise.

When it comes to sequels, it's more of the wasted potential of what could've been then it should have never been.

Not least of all that very few Final Fantasys are even direct sequels of another, they share many themes yes but most of them have a self contained plot. As for those that do have direct sequels, the only one I thought was good was Final Fantasy XII...though, I don't even know if it should be considered a sequel to Final Fantasy Tactics. But, it's closer than the others, having the same world. I don't think the Final Fantasy VII 'spinoffs' should have been made, nor X-2 geh. (I will accept X-2 as a form of guilty pleasure on my part however ^^' )

Also: Battlezone 2. They gave it a snazzy new engine, better graphics. But utterly destroyed what made the original so awesome, every teeny tiny bit.

Final Fantasy 7, 12 and Tactics are all set in Ivalice and in Tactics, Cloud and Balthier come back in time (PSP version) so they're probably the same world just at different times

Ghoul Patrol (SNES). Zombies Ate My Neighbors was a fantastic game that was way more fun with a co-op partner. Then Ghoul Patrol came along and derailed everything by being an unfun pile of poor game design ideas.
Sure, it's been a decade or two since its release, but I'm still bitter about it.

I wouldn't know where to start, oh, so many....That being said here goes:

Anything after Resident Evil 2, the rest of a games are a joke, Nemisis is bearable, 4 and 5 re terrible, the other non numbered games I cannot comment on mainly because I cannot be bothered to play them.

Dino Crisis 3, 1 was good, 2 was awesome, 3 added nothing to the universe the previous 2 made.

Any story sequel to a final fantasy, I enjoy most of the original games still.

Guitar Hero, the constant pounding of new releases quickly diminished the games originality and playability, not to mention the track lists are terrible.

Haegemonia: The Solon Heritage, no story, just skirmishes, thank you sooooo much for that ending to the original and not building on it!

Empire Earth 3, it was just a bad game.

Sim City Societies, nowhere near as addictive as the original sim city line, just not as fun, bring on Sim City 5!

That's all for now, I may resurface in this thread at a later time, moe than likely to defnd some of my suggestions.

to be honest all games should have been made because they teach lessons.

transformers 2 revenge of the fallen is something that should have never existed though, so i suppose that extends to the game of it
