...Um, Crispin Glover didn't sue them over using his footage because he believed the film was better than the first one, he sued because he didn't get paid for it.

As for me, I found Madagascar Escape 2 Africa better than Madagascar. There was more plot and lulz.
erm where in my post does it say that? i suggest you get your facts straight before you go around trying to prove others wrong, and dont try and out back to the future me because ill cream your ass boy
1. Quote: "and whats best is Crispin Glover actually sued over the use of documented footage in the film without personal permission". Considering the lack of punctuation between your reasons BTTF 2 was better than the original, it sounds like the Crispin Glover comment is also a reason the sequel was better than the original. In fact, even by itself it sounds that way.

Pretty much every superhero movie ever, because in the first they establish background and how they got their powers. Which is not something people want to see in a superhero movie. They go to see explosions and people getting punched...FOR JUSTICE!

Also, Assassin's Creed 2 and Baldur's Gate 2.

I am surprised at the support of Dead by Dawn over Evil Dead. I thought the first one was superior, the only advantage its sequel remake had was Ash's chainsaw-arm.
Everything else just felt lesser.

OT: I liked the second second & third Resident Evil films better than the first. I prefer my Alice with super-powers.
OMFG you actually mentioned that sham of a film series! i have never ever known a game to film series to be superior but i loved the resident evil games (until that sham of an excuse for a fifth game) and when these awful pieces of dribble formed from a prostitues herpes ridden mouth hit our screen i was ashamed.....

yet i still watched them all even though i couldnt stand the first one!

btw: anyone that hasnt seen Resident Evil: Afterlife heed my warning...DONT PLEASE MY FUCKING GOD DONT ITS TERRIBLE, AWFUL ACTING, AWFUL SCRIPT Paul Anderson really needs to stop making films

AC2 (I hope they manage it again with AC3, though Brotherhood doesn't give me high hopes for a lot of innovation)
Dark Knight
Empire Strikes Back

I wasn't 'ripping' your grammar, I was just making the point that you had included the Crispin Glover comment in the "this is why the film is better" reasoning, which is wrong because his suing the studio had nothing to do with whether the film was better or worse than the original. That's all. =/

Aw, I wanted to say that.:(

Ok, the second series of Blackadder. The first one was brilliant, but the second one was better than that.

Why is the title in all caps?

Anyways, I would say Mass Effect 2 was much better then Mass Effect 1 (Although that one is quite debatable)

Left 4 Dead 2 is much better then Left 4 Dead 1

And Assassin's Creed 2 was an EXTREMELY large improvement compared to the original.

Pwnt.

It's difficult to think of sequels without repeating what others have already said, although I'd have to say Warcraft 3 and Jak 3. Cinematics that make your hair stand up on end, and hover-boarding across a desert with bandits in buggies chasing after you? I think so!

Uhm... Oblivion. Personally I enjoyed it more than Morrowind. I think it's primarily because I just can't get into it, no matter how many times I try - and unfortunately it's aged quite horribly. I'm aware that I'm in the vocal minority here though.

I'm surprised no one else has said this: Red Dead Redemption. I liked the original, but it obviously can't hold a torch to the Game of the Year
