I was getting info from a doublecrosser, and made an attempt, albeit a poor one, to avoid a spy death by vote. I was under the impression at the time, from the people I was talking to, that not only did Team evil have roughly 8 votes, but the other votes would be too fractured between Wary, Neuro, and a suspected doppel to stop it.
edit: I was hoping that declaring myself the spy would cause enough confusion in the evil ranks to get at least a few of them to break and vote for me instead. If that part of the plan wasn't self evident.
Alright, fair. It kind of looked like an odd way to lure out the medic. And I wonder why, if this stuff was known, the medic wasn't told to protect Snekadid
There's the possibility snekadid was protected the first round, wouldn't that preclude them from doing the same in the 2nd? Total speculation though, I have no idea if that was the case.
As for luring the medic, that would have been interesting, but if you think about it, illogical. If snekadid had died in the vote, he would have been revealed as the spy then, and thus the medic would already know I wasn't the spy, and have no reason to protect me, which would defeat the purpose. The only case that would have worked is if a) team evil didn't know who the spy was and b) the spy didn't find a way to warn the medic
