@Lambi: Are the dubbed versions of that any good? I usually prefer subbed, because the dubbing is usually so awful, but once in a while there will be a show that's dubbed well.

@Yorg: Nope. The dubs are godawful. I have the first season in a video file that has both Japanese language and English language, and English text thankfully, and I tried the English language just to hear how awful it was. I prefer subs to dubs myself. Only anime that I liked the dub is Pokemon, Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh!.

@Lambi: Yea, the only dubbed anime I've ever really enjoyed are the Miyazaki films (best. movies. ever.). That dubbing was done by Disney, of course, so the quality is expected to be better.

[small]And of course, there's Yugioh Abridged, but that doesn't really count, although it is hilarious. [/small]

@Yorg: I love Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged! LittleKuriboh is a genius!

My favorite quote: "I have no personality whatsoever. Cower before my blandness."

Argh Higurashi dubs are terrible, Rika's Ni-paah sounds all wrong lol

@Yorg: Did you know that it's continued? Episode 47 is on Youtube.

@Big: I'm good. And yes, the dubs there are horrible.

@Big, I'm doing fine. I've never watched through a whole anime movie or series, I have watched several animé's that where on tv when my sister used to watch them loads, and I have watched half of several animé movies. One of the movies I watched half of was something like howls flying castle.

@BigZ225: Howl's Moving Castle is still my favorite, although they're all wonderful. Totoro was the first Miyazaki film I saw :)

@ultimate: WATCH ALL OF IT DAMMIT!!! D:<

@Yorg: Where do you watch your anime? I got to The Otaku Center. My first Miyazaki is Spirited away one of my all time favorite movies, let alone animes.

@Lambi: Is it me or do the same people do dubs for all the anime? It sounds weird.

@Ultimate: What anime did you used to watch?

@Big: It might have been lucky star, not sure though. Oh yea, and my Chinese teacher showed us a bunch of Chinese animé movies, one of them involved an anthropomorphic cat, and a woman, and the woman got turned into an anthropomorphic cat. I'm amazed that, of anybody, it was my Chinese teacher to turn me into a furry.

@Ultimate: Wow, your a furry? Even though I hardly know what a furry is, I'm surprised your one. Not that that's a bad thing.

@Big: Yup, and a furry is a fan of anthropomorphic animals, like this, a furvert is someone turned on by them, too soon to tell if I'm one of them though due to teenage hormones.

*EDIT* I want to find out the name of the movie now.

@Big: I have no idea. I know all the Icelandic dubbing done here in Iceland seems to be made by the same 5-6 people...
Though that's mainly for the kids shows so they can understand what's going on.
