Once again, a shadow fell upon the small town of SK and a chill wind blew through its once calm streets...
Zak clutched at his leg, trying in vain to close the gaping wound that had been opened when the killer had slashed at his leg not five minutes ago. Zak had managed to escape, but he knew he wasn't going to be safe for long, not here, not anywhere. He limped up another flight of stairs in the mysterious office building, a building that Zak had woken up in twenty minutes prior, not knowing how he'd arrived there or where exactly he was. After the initial shock of waking up in a strange place had died down, Zak simply blamed waaaaay to much Carlsburg for his strange predicament and began to try and locate an exit from the building. However, instead of finding an exit, he found his worst nightmare, for as he opened a door, hoping it would lead to his freedom, he instead came face to face with the masked figure of the Killer.
Blood still spurted out of the knife wound on his leg, leaving a trail that would be all to easy to follow for the killer, even in the dim confines of the stairwell that Zak was now working his way up, step by agonizingly slow step. Finally, after an excruciating twenty minutes, Zak, lightheaded and covered in blood emerged on the roof of the building into sheets of cold, driving rain.
He began to work his way slowly over to the edge of the roof, hoping to end his life himself, rather than having it taken from him by the monster that was perusing him. At the edge, Zak called out one final curse toward the building, before letting himself fall forwards, only to find himself stopping and an intense pain in his head, as if his hair was being pulled.
A look back confirmed his fears, before he had fallen, the killer had grabbed Zak's afro in one of his gloved hands and as soon as Zak's face turned towards the cause of his pain, the blood covered blade swept towards Zaks neck once more, cutting it in one clean slit.
The murder done, the killer let go of Zaks hair, letting him fall to the pavement below, but not before his victim managed to croak one final insult...
"Why me first? You wanker!"
