@CA: You haven't heard of Escapism? It's sort of like a convention, but it's more of a meeting of Escapists in their area. I'm tempted to try it myself here in California, but I'm a little nervous to do so.
@WarP: Ah. Yeah, that wouldn't work so well for me. I only know two other Escapists in my city.
@CA: Well, I think you could still do it with that many people. In Canada, they only had five [small](you hear that, Redlin?)[/small].
@Redlin: Yes you can! Then try gathering people from your own province/state. That's what I'm thinking of doing.

@CA: Yeah, it's basically a bunch of Escapists meeting in real life for a 3-day weekend and doing fun stuff. =P
It's all User organised though, we're sorta unofficial. >.> We had a few Dutch and one American people this year, so anyone can come if they can afford the travel.
@WarP: You should try one, dude o: A Worldwide Escapism would be awesome, but I doubt many could afford it. xD we'd need a huge place to meet at too.

@Still Sky/@CA: Well, I was thinking that everyone could chip in. We'd have a fundraiser of sorts, everyone would look out for each other and all. Maybe we could get help from the staff or something. As for a meeting place, maybe one large convention center. I don't know, I'm a big picture type of guy.
This isn't something that I've thought too much into but if people really like the idea, maybe I'd do more to get it off the ground...

Coincidentally, I think I met one other person on the site from Nova Scotia. Just the one.
Still if I have my passport up to date, and ever get some money, a trip to Boston or something to meet the myriad of Massachusetts members wouldn't be too bad.
