@Fragrance: So today I registered for one of the Innistrad pre-release events next week: a sealed-deck tournament, possibly a second one after that if I'm in the mood to spend a little extra. That makes a total of 12, possibly 13, Innistrad booster packs before the set's official release... Here's hoping I pull a Liliana.

@CA Ah, yeah I know I'll be hitting up the midnight prerelease draft since it'll be after the FNM I usually play in. Sadly work usually prevents me from going to sealed which I like way more than draft. But another game store right by my apartment will be having an ongoing Innistrad sealed league that I might be able to go to so I'll probably check that out. Personally I'm hoping to get my hands on some Geist of Saint Traft. That guy looks sick!

@Fragrance: Geist of Saint Traft is only a 2/2, though. He might have hexproof, but that doesn't prevent him from being blocked. I could be keen on either Liliana, Balefire Dragon or Olivia Voldaren, with maybe a Falkenrath Marauders thrown in there for good measure.

@CA True, but swinging in for 6 on turn 4 is still pretty powerful for a blue white deck that normally can't do that. Also that guy with any of the swords from Scars block is a very scary thought. I do think Olivia is cool and I have a fondness for Grimgrin Corpseborn as a sort of better sort of worse Thraximundar. Also Bloodgift Demon and Reaper of the Abyss will almost certainly be maing their way into my EDH.
