@Sky The only problem is that people posting like ruin the fun and discourage other people from reading the thread. I know nonsense battles are part of the SK history, but in the past we also had addition topics about other things going on in the world or on the escapist site; to break those up and allow every player to have an interest in reading the thread. Without that balance it just becomes a few people that take over the thread and this place becomes a barren wasteland.

@element: While that is a concern and something that I have noticed, I don't think that's what makes people stay away from the thread. I remember threads dying because there was no activity and there certainly were not any random babble by just two or three people. What does make people stay away? I don't know, but random babble shouldn't get all of the blame.
