Well... not really. But it's still pretty hot at 40ºC (that's about 104ºF for you Americans). And the only seasons we have are dry and wet

You wouldn't want to be down here. Riverside county is a freaking dust bowl. On a bright sunny day, a strong wind can kick up sand and rocks in your eyes without much warning.

I'd rather take the rain. The place is beautiful when the fields are green, and damp soil is harder to kick up.
