@Diablo

Yeah, no kidding. The only reason I do is so I can make checkpoints to the relative current thread page thanks to The Escapist's handy "Recent Posts" thing on the side of the site.

It starts at six, ends at eight, and it's the only class I go to on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It works for me.

@Gamebro: So...so you think you can tell...heaven from hell? Blue skies from pain? I whole heartedly agree with you. We should be having fun, not arguing with each other.

@Steke: Alright. I have noted that in what you do, you disregard honesty. This is a fact that will color any further conversations we will have. Over the last several years I have grown really sensitive to that sort of ideology. Now, I realize that this game isn't even in the same ballpark of some of the things my nature has led me to endure...but introducing that element around here on an area where I come to relax really hits a personal sore spot.

So no, I don't trust you. And chances are, I never really will. As I've said, trust is something that I give out really freely until someone abuses it.

Hell, I'm not even mad anymore. Just disappointed that I let myself get walked on again.

Yeah yeah, I know. It's just a game. I'm just overly sensitive about calculated dishonesty, especially when it's completely unnecessary. Sorry. :/

@RaN: You know, I have spent enough nights at the school this semester anyway. I don't think I would want classes then too.

Why night classes? Do you have to work or something?

@Students: I laugh at you people still slogging through classes!

Ah... the benefits of being old.

@Argument: SK's a lot like Werewolf, a game of which I'm a veteran at, so I do expect a bit of lying. Part and parcel of the game.

And SK being on the interwebs forum, there's no obligation to be honest to others. I get that.

The crux of the problem was its strategic unsoundness (if that's a word). I don't see how killing the spy (real or not) would've helped the game overall. There's no way to get enough information on your own to make that call (without being the spy, that is). Would've been more beneficial to allow the spy to ask all his questions before enacting such a gambit. At least, if the person who claimed to be the spy really happens to be the spy, then we'd be better informed.

The only reason, why you, Steke, are still alive is because we're rather bullheaded about catching killers. It's in our best interest (especially Neo's, being the all-powerful killer that he is) that us townfolk win and live to tell the tale :)

Personally, I've got no grouses against you. But not everyone's like me (air-headed). So get ready your lynch stories for future rounds (if you're allowed back in and still want to participate). You'll be needing them.

@Schizzy Yeah, Werewolf is fun, I have played it quite a lot lately.
I won a lot in the beginning, so I get lynched/eaten a lot these days.
But that game is all about making people believe that you are too important to be killed or something similar. I actually played a round where we had three people claiming to be the same role at the same time, and they all tried to get the two others lynched.

@Steke: I think that's where this differs from Werewolf, here the aim is to hide that you have any role at all, so you don't get killed off by the killer early and end up not being able to use your abilities.

I have played werewolf though, so I know what you mean. xD

@Schizzy At the risk of playing devil's advocate, I'm gonna go out on a whim and say that Steke thinks it was good because, through the process of lynching, we confirmed that Ynnek was the spy. A little "ends justify the means" exercise, as it were.

I don't really hold any animosity towards Steke either, but I also have a thing for truth like Link does, so I can't guarantee that this little stunt won't influence how I view what Steke says in the future.

I just find it pointless to keep on going over Steke's same old excuse. Yeah, he charged ahead and got the spy killed. Yes, he feels justified because of it. It's an impasse, which is (to me) a fancy way of saying "This is a waste of time".

@Diablo Both.

@NightSchool I wish I had a job. That way I'd at least be getting a paycheck.

I go to school eight to four Mondays and Wednesdays. Night school on Tuesday means I can sleep in that morning.

@RaN: Bluh, I've had a class like that. I guess it would have been better if I hadn't had a full day of classes before it. >.<

Oh well, I've only got three days of class a week this semester. On the other hand, my design class is doing its damnedest to suck up all my free time. Gotta love trade offs.
