@Berenzen: Honestly, I think an opening post that spans two posts because it's so long is a good thing. It shows there's a lot of thought put into it and a lot of detail about the universe. If people can't be bothered to read it all, that's their fault.

However, I will say that the universe you chose to use for a roleplay seems somewhat obscure. Or, well, I've never heard of it myself.

I don't think basing a roleplay on a series of novels is that bad a thing, especially since I run such a thread myself and have been doing so for a good long time now.

@staika: My roommate locked me out of my house a couple nights back while I was sitting in the backyard without my keys. I had to ring on the doorbell for about ten minutes before she opened the door.

Then I had to spend the next 20 minutes chasing her demon dog around the neighborhood in the dark since she couldn't be bothered to put on shoes after letting the hellhound loose upon the world.

Saturday annoyed me. >.<
