@Link: Start with the Chipko movement in India. It's basically where the term "tree-hugger" comes from.

@Malyc: Do...do you make them explode with your very presence? o_O

@RaN: Yeah, that's certainly going to be in there. I'm plugging away through transcendentalism right now.

Yay Walden. I'm surprised that reading you actually became relevant. >.<

@Link: Emerson's "Nature" and Hawtorne's "Blithedale Romance" are also worth looking up.

In your case, I'd rather focus on Eastern philosophies. That's what more people associate with modern transcendentalism. Take a look at Taoism and the Analects. Specifically Pu [small](simplicity)[/small] and Wu wei [small](without action)[/small].

@Termpapers: Muhahahaha I don't have to write one this term. But I am pretty good at writing papers like that so it wouldn't be too bad for me :p

@staika: I have a crazy asian lady story too!

So I was walking along the street to meet some friends for dinner at Chinatown, Melbourne (oh how typical, we asians are). Against better judgement, I was running on autopilot, walking without paying attention to my surroundings, concentrating on staying warm and thinking warm thoughts (curse my inability to multitask).

Suddenly, from out of the blue, an old asian lady grabbed my arm, and asked me in Cantonese, "Buy a muffin!"

I reply back in broken Cantonese, "No thanks, I meet with friends, go eat." (I imagine this is how horrid is sounds in Cantonese, then back-translated to English.)

I made a move to walk on, but the old lady vise-like grip tightened.

"Buy muffin!"

Being the good little asian boy, I just repeated, "No thanks"

After what felt like 10 minutes struggling with an old lady, and getting hungrier, I agreed to buy the muffin, if only she would let me go.

I gave her cash, took my muffin, and ran (or walked really REALLY fast).

I didn't look back, but I heard her going, "Buy muffin!" before I turned the corner.

@Schizzy: There are times where it is perfectly acceptable to FALCON PAWNCH people, and I would have categorized that as one of them...

@staika: I made our store logo for our business.

If it looks familiar, it's entirely coincidental :D

@Staika: You seem to forget that a key is anything that can undo a lock, no matter in what way.

Take this key for instance: *pulls out pump action Remington 870 12 ga loaded with frangible breaching rounds* This beauty will open damn near any door in America.

Skip to about halfway through the vid, the rest seems to be advertising for the door XD

@Schizzy: No finer logo could be made, You have done a very good job :p

@malyc: Oh, Try it. But once you're outside and you haven't bought sunglasses our guard godzilla will not like the fact that you didn't buy anything.

@Staika: Hmmm... good thing I bought these 12 ga grenade rounds... They're designed for use with the AA-12, but I think they can make an acception. Plus, if he decides to radioactive laser me to death, I'll make sure he blows up the shop as well.
