Thinking about getting the new Item of the Month, the Happy Medium. Of course, being an Avatar of Boris, I'm stuck with Clancy the minstrel following me around, so familiars aren't an option.

It was a nice day. We'd killed Malyc, who luckily was the murderer. The medics had done a good job of preventing his spree from being too damaging. But something felt off. Maybe we'd killed the wrong man again... or maybe there was still a killer roaming the streets.
That night, I went for a walk. The streets were dark. Lonely. I turned a corner. An old building, partly destroyed. A bombing. Staika's body was dragged out, identified by scraps. Another figure was standing there.
"Damn shame isn't it?" I said. The figure just nodded.
"Though... Malyc was in the chapel when the building exploded." I voiced my thoughts aloud. The figure turned.
"Yeah, he was. Maybe there's another killer... Nah. Timer, probably."
The figure seemed to relax, and walked away. "But... there was another shooting. And another bombing... two MOs... Like two serial killers... Sorry, don't mind me. Just... just musing..." I said.
The figure turned again. He raised a handgun. The glint of the nearby streetlamp on it caught my eye. I turned. Legs, body, arms, gun... GUN! I tried to see the figure's face. It lit up for a second. I tried to seize the chance then realised...
It was the muzzle flash.
The bullet struck me in the shoulder, tearing arteries. Blood flowed down my arm. I ran my fingers across the ground.

Two killers. Avenge me.

yeah, I got murdered.
