If I'm not lying and we manage not to loose our head scribe then after 2 more executions i'm sure he will be able to narrow it down to 1 suspect, asuming we do not find the killer first.

Hey now, don't I get some say in this matter? I would rather like to keep living if it's all the same to you! Those other three are shady characters as well. Just look at Aerostream's cold, calculating, emotionless robot face. I think he's much more suspicious than little old me.

But there's already a (apparently unenforced) rule about this, as I pointed out earlier.

Maybe the Head Scribe is concerned about the lawyer, but if they had that much info then releasing it to the known innocents would've made more sense.

We'd be sure and the proof would be in the riskiness of telling all the people not on the list.

@T0ad: As someone that is in the list of people, I believe that he is telling the truth. Now, as a prime suspect I am not privy to most of the backdoor info, but it would not make sense that Mem would come forth with such a bombastic lie.

I know I was the first one to doubt his word, but, if you think about it, what would the point in him lying be? To bring out the real spy to kill him? On the 3rd cycle there would be little point. 2 questions have been answered and the list of suspects is small. So even if the spy were brought out to call him out on it, resulting in the spy's death, their words would only get validated.

So no, no point in lying out in the open. Not now. I would be inclined to believe so a cycle before, but with 2 questions asked it would serve nothing.
