@Elfgore: So how is the OP going to be handled?

I think the best way to handle it would be to create a "SecondOP" of sorts that lists who's alive and whatnot, and just have that post linked in the OP.
That way whoever becomes the new GM can still edit freely and the game can still be updated, and without having to constantly hassle a mod to edit a post for them.
