Sorry about announcing myself in the chat instead of here, either way, I'm all ready to go whenever everyone else is. Though expect some delay on any response from me. Nothing that would take more then a day, mind you. I work the graveyard shift, so my waking hours are during the night.

All seriousness though, I was all over the internet back then and mostly only stayed rooted at civfanatics. I hadn't yet learned many people here but I come to know you over the past few years. I read through a lot of your Katawa Shoujo Let's Play. Plus, its kinda hard to miss Frappe around here with his 30k post count. I love these games though so I appreciate the invite.

@Caramel Frappe Don't feel bad on the Let's Play, I have abandoned 2 here. One was Gal Civ 2. (Neat idea for a lets play if my readers were into it but it was probable unrealistic. Then Tropico 2 and I died and it didn't seem to have many readers anyways. (Kind of a shitty game anyways, but I love it. I currently have a Fallen Enchantress LP that is suspended until I have time to post more. I refuse to kill it. Right now though I am in a Warhammer 40k league and am trying to get all my little guys painted. I got my first squad done today. 
Yeah, I imagine that line about requesting to be your lawyer may get me killed early. But it was a joke to paint you as the killer. IT WAS A JOKE EVERYONE NOTHING TO SEE HERE! I don't really support communism. I love dictatorship like everyone else. I swear to the all mighty computer. Plus, I am not good at law anyways and that only means 1 thing.

I've had some major issues in the same manner. I've noticed that if your connection comes from America or Europe, you're fine, but if it's Hong Kong or China at least, the Escapist just blocks forum and PM posting rights.TizzytheTormentor said:

I am playing the Black Legion and just finishing up a basic space marine squad for my first game where I plan to proxy them as plague marines. The figures are done but their bases are drying. I should be able to post some pics of them in about an hour. I do have my champion done though. But he isn't legal in league play yet.L. Declis said:Which army are you painting? He turned out darker than i would have liked, butwhatever. I didn't have a good gold and used a more copper color called Balthazaar Gold. I was trying to toy with painting the gold parts yellow first and then bringing a light coat of that dark gold over it. However, it was too hard to keep even and eventually said "fuck it" and finished them in dark gold. It is more noticeable on the space marines.

EDIT: The Black Legion Space Marine Squad
Drybrush a really light version of whatever the colour of the eye lenses are around the eyes. DRY brush it. That'll give them the light source effect, and helps bring out that really dark lense.
If you're going to do black bases, then quickly give the sides of the bases another black coat to clear up any slips.
Use a bright silver and edge highlight the gold to bring it out; just use the side of the brush and the corner of the part to add a little highlight.
If you have a large patch of gold, put a brown wash over it to break up the plain colour of it. Dirtier, the better.
A brown wash over skin makes it twice as good. A dry brush of cream and then a wash will make it amazing. Make the eyes dark if you want, it looks like shadows and looks good.
A blue or purple wash over the silver guns will help break up the dry look of the metal, and will make them also look Chaos-y.
