@Secondhand Revenant: I doubt it's a ruse, mainly because I never witnessed one during my ye olde days of SK. The closest is a reverse ruse, where Lizzy pretended to be busy to avoid suspension. But in actuality? She was very, very active.

I'm also somewhat doubtful but it's something I'd do so I don't want to lean too hard the other way.

And also I'm suspicious because you didn't at least mention that it could be a ruse. Of course you could have not considered it or not considered it important but it also could be you left it out deliberately to better influence people. It's a pretty flimsy suspicion but it's still a suspicion. If you'd originally acknowledged the possibility of it being a rude I wouldn't be suspicious.

Also your attitude to it is rather good. It's the good attitude of good team playing villager. You die, not too big a deal since in this game you still have a voice... but then if I were guilty is try to emulate that too...

I'm kind of overly suspicious perhaps.

Also, don't really blame ya. In the first cycle, the best you can do is pick a random person and hope to God he's the killer. Doesn't always work, but better than nothing, I suppose.

I suggest everyone going with James'idea work together to name a single person. The list of more inactive people is big so if you all go randomly that may be an issue

I'm actually pretty sure I count as suspicious under his ruling because I didn't bother contributing to the obvious madness creeping into peoples brains until I knew I was playing and then until the killer actually woke up. Oh the woes of the one sane man, watching the rest of you suspicious insane bastards point accusations at each other.

May I offer suggestions? Like voting for Jux? Even in the fo' realz beginning of the thread, he didn't make any activity.
In fact, after checking his profile, he didn't make a single post in the thread.

Another person I am suspicious of is Twintix, because she was on a vacation in China, therefore justifying why she took so long.

Another one is kingofkumquats, mainly because of this post.

I'm glad we're on a break while I'm moving into college. Makes things much simpler.

This indicates that he was busy with moving in, thus making him likely to be the Killer. American. American Killer.

There are more, but those are my three main leads. Pick one.

Jokes aside, I have experience and had the privilege to play with some really clever people, which translates into decent understanding of game mechanics and tactics. But still, the oldies like Neo AC and Lizzy completely shadow me and all the other people in my generation of SK. Shame they left, though.

I have a question for the vets cause I dont see it in the rules. Theres a few players with information missing from their profiles, when the spy actually gets around to asking questions, how do I treat them in regards to lists?

@snekadid: If the Spy asked if the Killer is American, but users don't have a nationality listed, then of course the answer is "no" for them because they didn't mention they were American.

Either way, the list of suspects you'll provide will be the be-all and end-all, it's just up to you if you want to include certain players.

Adding on to what Aero said, the rules say that Spy questions are based on the profiles regardless of the reality of the players' situations, so even cases like mine(I'm American, but I live in Japan) shouldn't be ambiguous as long as you stick to that.

The most important thing is to include the list of suspects in your PM to the Spy. So in the event of "Is the Killer American?" you either provide a list of everyone who is American if the answer is yes or a list of everyone who is not if the answer is no. Fair enough. I'll try to keep an open mind. I've watched plenty of moe shows I've enjoyed I just don't normally seek them out.

I just want to throw my hat into this accusation ring as well. I'm going to side with DirtyCopComrade. He wasn't even the first one to suggest the killer doesn't post much. There's not a lot of evidence to go on right now but I find EvilRoyComrade(?)'s posting trends the most suspicious at the moment. He seemed fairly quiet without going completely silent but his activity seemed to pick up after the Killer role had been assigned. He posted a rebuttal [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/362.881148-Serial-Killer-Round-70-Soviet-Submarine-Slaughter?page=7#22215649] to DirtyCopComrade's theory which I think really doesn't do much to help decide who the Killer is. I too think a ruse is unlikely. Most people who were actively posting seemed eager to get the game started as quickly as possible as well. I doubt they would deliberately delay the game.

ScarsUnseencomrade being killed might imply the Killer is trying to get rid of quiet people. They would probably also start posting more frequently at the same time to throw suspicion off of themselves. I think EvilRoyComrade(?)'s actions so far are most consist with the predicted Killer.

Not much to go off but that's how I'm going to vote.

@FLPOON ultimately I could be more evil, but I can't be arsed, creating a sort of evil feedback loop. I think you max out on sloth points pretty early on though thanks to reality tv so I won't get caught in an infinite loop.

As it stands I may be up poop creek anyway! First they wanted to kill me because I didn't talk enough, so I started talking a lot and now they want to kill me because I won't shut up! If I go quiet again it will only confirm their suspicions, but if I keep talking they will probably think I'm trying to psyche them ausche and kill me for that! AAAAAAAAA! The only thing I've figured out is half the people want to kill the quiet people, and the other half want to kill the people who were quiet but then heard they might get killed for being quiet so they started talking!
