So are we just waiting on the Killer to make a move?
I'm pretty sure it's been awhile since anything has happened or maybe my day was slow.
The announcement from beyond the grave only occurred earlier today so the killer may take a bit. Hopefully Roy will post the notice in the morning. Depending on if the killer and all the other roles act by then and if Roy is in fact free then and doesn't want until 8 PM in his wonky time zone

@Headsprouter: Dang... No one I vote for dies by execution... :p

@Armadox: *puts down penis and closes mouth* Aw man... But, I can make it spotless and shit...

@Caramel Frappe: Everytime I think of Quiet's backstory, I think of Linkin Park:

Breathing through my skin!
These burns they will not heal!
Fear is how I snipe!
The clothing's what's not real!

Bored now, lets talk about a different game. Anyone fiddle with the latest up date in Starbound?

I've never seen the show.
It's quite good. I like it a lot. Lots of weird science fiction and dark humor.

The 'Landlord simulator' portion of it? Crysan and I have been, and some of the new bosses. So far quite fun.

Ahem.... Fuck starbound. I kickstarted that shit, then they constantly delayed, then they didnt release a update that wouldnt corrupt the game files or crash your computer for over a year. For over a year, we had a version that ran like shit on my computer, a computer that runs ff14 with all the perks at 80 consistently and can run anything else thats come out on high. I mean 6 fps from a pixel art game!? I dont care if its early access, if the game doesnt run, dont release that for money and not update it for a fucking year! /rant

Be fair, that's not the worse thing I've seen. In two trpg games I kickstarted, I actually had to go to the developers myself, and donate art just so it would see the light of day.

Wait...seriously? Jesus. Out of curiosity, and because I like your art, which two games are you referring to?

On the topic of crowdfunding, and since there was just an article about this on The Escapist, what's everyone's prognosis on Star Citizen? I'm predicting a massive disappointment followed by a shitstorm. No way in hell that game is going to live up to the absurd promises and hype that the developer has built up. I mean, I'd like to be positively surprised, but I don't think it's realistic.

If only I could tell who, without having to leave my chair. I still haven't gotten all the nails out, and walking like this is really doing a number to my back. I'm sure you'll all find out soon anyway.

@EvilRoy: The problem I find with Quiet is the fact how flawed her condition is.

Breathing through your skin can lead to multiple problems. What if you're bleeding? Getting blood on you could either drown you or cause infections due to the blood intake through spores. Also if she can't swim because it'll choke her through the skin, how can she be in heavy rain? It's almost like swimming except having mili second gaps of air relief.

What about being in the freezing cold? You'd be more likely to get light headed from fighting for oxygen in cold climates, and the fact putting a blanket / wrapping yourself with heavy clothing would suffocate her. Then again it's never explained as to why she can't simply breathe through her mouth as an alternative means. Or her nose.... cause she can still use those.

Let's not get started with if you throw oil / paint / chemicals onto her. Even her own sweat could cause some major problems but the game does explain how she 'doesn't' sweat nor needs to eat. It's all really flawed if you apply logic.
Oh actually reptilians can still skin-breath with water and stuff on them, but the easy immediate answer to how flawed her condition is that it simply wouldn't work. The oxygen density of our atmosphere is way too low to sustain a large mammal though cutaneous respiration. We don't have enough 'skin surface area' to do it and there isn't enough readily available atmospheric oxygen to make it easier, since we have so damn much blood and such damn high oxygen demands. Quiet would suffocate pretty quickly. Even if she didn't, she would definitely starve to death. Chlorophyll is rocking awesome, but the reason we don't have green cows is because it take a lot of time and sun to produce a small amount of energy. That's why herbivores have to spend all day eating - carnivores get time off from eating because they eat the things that spend all day for months to years collecting energy.

Really the whole thing screams "an excuse for fanservice" which isn't a problem per se but excuse itself is so asinine i just wish they just with a Bayonetta's "because I like doing it"

The fuck is wrong with that snake? Also, nothing but roles have died. That's mildly disquieting.

So does anyone have a particular defense for not killing Armadox? I'm a bit worried he may have a beneficial role but he's been rather shady too. So barring a reason not to or a good reason to kill someone else I'm thinking of going for him

I thought Armadox loved Frappe? Why would he kill him then?

Unless it was unrequited by Frappe of course...yo Frappe, how have you been reacting to Armadox's love?

EDIT: Thought I should probably add something serious to this discussion. I don't think it's Armadox, as his behavior has been insane, yes, but I don't think he would have done something like this if he was the killer...I just don't see what he would gain from it.

Gain from the weird stunt I assume? Since the benefit of killing the arbiter is clear.

Also Frappe saying:

@Fat_Hippo: Personally I have my own suspicions as to why everyone with a role has been dying but i'm dead so- I can't say much without breaking the rules. All I can say is, someone had a list with roles and decided to 'share' whether they were the Spy or not. Armadox already figured out the majority of people whom had roles with his stunt so take what you will of that.
Makes it seem like he may have told Armadox. If Armadox found out some roles it may explain the unerring accuracy of the kills.

But I may be open to other targets for the sake of unity.

Edit: Explanation for Armadox's behavior comes to mind. What if he's the doppelganger? As the doppelganger he would want to make contact with the killer, explaining the purpose of the weird lawyer thing.

Also he may be a bit too free in sharing roles in the hopes he gets someone hit. That seems a bit unlikely though, just came to mind as a possibility. But Armadox being the doppelganger seems like a fairly decent theory, at least given what we have to work with, no?

I've only had a role the first round I played and didn't last long so it hadn't been relevant to me yet, but wouldn't a good way to do things be to tell two people your role and tell each the name of the other person you told if you're confiding roles? Sure trusting two people is riskier but it is a bit of an insurance plan
