Same. I sure as shit don't remember seeing Sentai stabbing people with spears, henchmen running around with SMG's shooting up buildings, prisoners being tied to crosses for execution, and crowds of people running and screaming amidst explosions in the Power Rangers shows of my childhood.

Same. I sure as shit don't remember seeing Sentai stabbing people with spears, henchmen running around with SMG's shooting up buildings, prisoners being tied to crosses for execution, and crowds of people running and screaming amidst explosions in the Power Rangers shows of my childhood.

While I'm not a Sentai fan, overall, the then head man of Tekkoshocon did make a point to show people in the US that the show you saw as a kid was not what was showing in Japan. (He was a big fan, hence one of the reasons why David Fielding was a guest at one point. Apparently, David was actually responsible for comedy improv in Pittsburgh, among other things.)
