Eternal Darkness. If it had a good sequel come out I would buy the system to play it if I didn't have it. I did that for Morrowind and I never regretted it! But Thief 4 is in production so I am very hopeful on that front.

Legacy of Kain (although that is mostly wishful thinking on my part).

There will never be any new LoK games, the series has come to a end say Activision and part of it I was told from a less than reliabe source was due to Activision getting a bee in their bonnet over hand drawn pron images and homosexual fanfiction. If every games company did this we'd have no games at all.

The reasons I've heard for it ending included the death of one of the major voice actors and the woman who's job included keeping track of all the different characters' scemes leaving the company. I would like to see one more (and just one more) game in that series.

Also, why didn't Epic use the Unreal 2007 engine to... y'know... make Unreal??? A remake with the new engine would have been brilliant. Or they could have done a HD remake, I would have been happy either way.

Skies of Arcadia was one of my favourites from the old gen as well, and Streets of rage/golden axe are just pure win.

Battlefront, I mean for fucks sake. Trying to follow what's going on in terms of production for that game is like trying to make your way through a 30x30 foot maze made of spaghetti.

(LOTR:Conquest doesn't count.)

Since Pandemic is no longer I fear we wont get anything near as awesome as what we saw in the leaked footage.

Free Radical were the ones who were maing the game at that point, but they've palmed it off on someone else since they blew all their money on Haze. Following from that it seems it went to Rebellion, (the guys that made the PsP version) but I don't think they're making it anymore either.

We do have a good gta for this gen. It's called Chinatown Wars.
We do however need a real Burnout game: one with crash junctions and more than 3 road rage events. Burnout Paradise is so boring and normal.

While neither are a series, I wouldn't mind seeing a new Rez or Ribbit King on new hardware. Can't say I'm surprised though. I am a bit surprised that they haven't made any Sims games on the new consoles but the console versions were always sandbagged and clunky versions of the PC which has continued.

D&D and not the memorpagger. I know we just got Dragon Age but they talk way too much and the soundtrack is bad and glitchy. I'm afraid it's going to give my ears cancer.

Didn't they make a PSP game recently?

Anyway, Star wars, Battlefront.
Lucasarts would make so much money if they made the bloody thing.

And Timesplitters. We need a new Timesplitters.

I wouldn't consider the PSP as a member of the current gen. Hand Held gaming devices have there own little section in the gaming universe and even then the Jak and Dakter game came out before the PS3 and 360 I belive (or just recently after the 360)
