Dragon age 2 seems to have gotten alot of people screaming THEY CHANGED IT RUINED FOREVER!!!

and of coarse declaring that Bioware has abondoned PC and they arnt getting it....

and of coarse alot of other games as well, that havnt come out yet

ok so mabye you played the demo but can't you at least wait untill the game is out? please? because oyu dont belive how F-ing annoying it is to hear somome specualting that its going to suck...you might have an impression but you dont know yet..please find somthing better to do

in regards dragon age, are bioware trying to get into the sucess of ME2 (OMG I cant manage my squads equipment..no more pointless side quests?? RUINED FOREVER!!) yes they are theres no denying that,

are they cater soley to those "filthy console peasants"? yes, thats fine theres money in consoles and I dont give a fuck who can and who can't play a game, as long as I can Im happy...BUT they hav not abondoned PC and quite frankly in current times we PC gamers are lucky to have such a good dev standing behined our platform,

as for the changes, yeah thats subjective, but Im exited for the story, I like that my charachter can talk


so please for the love of god..what ever the game please please wait untill it is out THEN you can ***** away like theres no tomorrow

EDIT: Im not saying that the demo its a good way to decide if you like the game or not, Im just saying completley writing off the game as bad and them doom mongering about it, plus not being able to get over the changes....its just stupid

The best thing is that the only thing that has actually changed about DA2's gameplay is they've added the conversation wheel and a character voice, yet everyone's still bitching off aobut it.

You know what the conversation wheel does that's different to the old conversation-response layout? It puts it in a circle, order the choices from good to bad and shortens them slightly to keep the conversation pace up.

It really is exactly the same - if you counted all the responses you get on a wheel compared to the old system, there'd be hardly any distinguishable difference either way.

Well, the best part of DA:O for me was the hilarity that ensues when you deliberately make an ugly character.

Frankly, I don't care if the character is called Hawke or Pina Colada, so long as I can mess with the looks.

The voice may or may not be better. All comes down to the quality of the delivery.

The UI .. well, I did like the fully zoomed out isometric view, which AFAIK is no longer available, but so long as there are complex choices available for the characters' tactics, I'm not overly fussed.
Will of course play it on nightmare (or whatever name the highest difficulty goes by).

What do these elitists do that stops this "slide into banality"? Do they crusade against games developers who make what you describe as "generic" games? No, they just ***** and ***** over the internet with no facts only stupid bloody opinion.

I think I'm going to have the same problems with DA2 as I did with DAO and ME2: The first playthrough will be great, but as soon as I start the second playthrough I'll be stricken by how mundane and boring the gameplay is.

The story and the characters are always pretty fun, but the gameplay... *ugh*

I can't believe people are getting so worked up over a conversation wheel. I mean really the wheel changes nothing. Let's wait in till the game comes out before we judge it ok.

I'm one of those generic "bitchers" here...though mostly when asked/annoyed. But...you do realize that you just a made a new thread in which they(we?) can talk about it, right?

Though it's gone for a bit too long for my opinion (the game is out in a week or so, so I'll just wait for it before my wall of text) these sort of threads just awaken disputes again. Also, some people may already have formed an opinion and are just stating it on the appropriate threads.

It's the internet. Everybody has the right to complain. And those who played the demo more so, because it's not supposed to be a "oh...looks bad but the game may be good/the ending might surprise me/there may be some amusement to be found" but to entice and make you go "wow". When it doesn't (and it didn't) people are dissapointed.
