How does this guy keep getting money to make shows? He's not funny anymore, hell, I laugh at a lot of things, I'm like a laughter whore, but McFarlane is just terrible.
hhhmmm interesting, but sadly not interesting enough to warrant a watch. Even though he isnt the funniest man alive McFarlane does have his funny moments and even if we don't find it funny a good portion of America finds it funny and that's why those shows keep getting made even though I'd rather he stop.
Pudgy, dense male lead with an overly attractive and somewhat reasonable wife, a son and a daughter who are both communicative babies instead of a son and a daughter and a baby, and an oddly anthropomorphic pet/friend who is, against all reason accepted as normal by society at large. I see why they gave it to him.

The only show I like of his is American Dad, and even that is starting to show symptoms of Family Guy syndrome. If he ever does anything else, it should no longer be in the realms of animation, because all of his show formats are too damn similar.

You know, I like Family Guy, and I like American Dad even more (Cleveland Show is shit though). This could work, it depends.
Haven't watched one of Seth's shows since maybe the third of fourth season of family guy.
Maybe he'll do a good job with this one, very doubtful though

So long as he doesn't make fun of the audience (Thanks family guy, that REALLY helped what I used to feel about you), I don't care.

OT: I never liked The Flinstones, anyways. Even as a kid, it bothered me that they were trying to show dinosaurs and humans coexisting.
I see this failing pretty quickly. Reboots and spinoffs just don't seem to be Mr. MacFarlane's forte. If you can't be original, please don't invest money into shredder.
Seriously American Dad is the only MacFarlan's shows that still funny. Don't get me started on Family Guy that's got so awful it's actually suprising it hasn't been cancelled again. Can't they give some lessor know animator a go, as it this rate every cartoon is going to be made by MacFarlane.
