Sex Education, your experiences.

All I can remember is some naked women giving her child a bath and then the naked husband comes in and starts shaving.

Weird...

I also got to see child birth in reverse.

Everyone starts giggling and joking about it. We saw a couple of video's, many of the girls were just turning away and boys were laughing.

Quite funny.

However i don't think we were taught about how to use condoms, probably because it's a Catholic school. That might be a problem later on.

We had our regular teachers do it, seemed like a good system because we were already comfortable with them. Very, very strange to get sex ed from our quiet, shy and pretty goofy maths teacher though.

Hmm, back to my innocent days in 6th grade. We were seperated into boys and girls for a day. We (the boys) talked about the way a sperm had to travel from production to dedication. Talked about ways of prevention, we got some textes and had to present them to class. I was the only one chosen to show how a condom is applied (I had to use a kind of huge dolphin-shaped dildo, which was really gross!) - by the way, did it perfectly on the first try . When I was about to throw it into the trashcan our teacher told me not do it, because the cleaning stuff may get shoked. I was being laughed at because I had no idea what 'petting' meant, but nobody explained it. What sex actually is and how it is performed what not explained at all, they thought probably, that our parents had told us already.

The weeks after we were taught by our female biology teacher about the female cycle in detail, which was really educational.

Do you Americans really only use videos and talk about STDs most of the time? We barely mentioned them...
