To be honest, the sexism in the gaming community still gets to me.
I like voice chatting in games, but I dont like the automatic `OMGGIRL!` and then the mixed reactions of either harrassment, people asking me out, or the white-knight syndrome (`If someone gives you trouble just come to me!`. Yeah thanks fella, cause I couldn't deal with it, what with my ovaries and all).
And there are some guys that just cant get past it (a certain guy I know in particular) and thus treats a girl who games like a dog who learnt to talk.

Most annoying thing about being a guy? You can't be friendly towards a member of the opposite sex without all your friends (and sometimes all of her friends) assuming you are "grafting" her (yes, that's the new slang). If you like talking to a girl it obviously must be some kind of subtle ploy to end up in her bed, because you couldn't possibly just enjoy their company. No no no no no. Because you see, you're a guy, and it's a well known fact that whenever a guy looks at a girl all they see is a pair of tits on a stick. /sarcasm

Oh, that and being kicked in the balls. That one's no fun either.

Males: The most annoying thing about being a guy is that everyone expects you to be like some kind of Rambo-muscled, power-housed, strong man. The minute you show a kinder side it is an immediate, "He's gay. He likes reading instead of sport and watches 'chick-flicks', so he must be gay," and personally, that gets real old and real annoying.

Females: Girls who want equality but yet deny when a guy want to play volleyball or gets mad when a guy doesn't hold the door for them or doesn't pull out their seat. I, being the gentleman I am, already do all that but I is beyond annoying when girls say a guy can't do something but a girl can and still ask for equality. If they want equality, you get equality 100% or not at all.

This holy, shit this

OT

I have no idea how many times when I tried to introduce myself to women they got angry. It's like what the hell did I do to ruin your day. Yet when I don't act interested you're suddenly into me. I been confused about this shit for years.

I recognize that gender roles are obsolete, yet I know that I like dating girls who aren't taller than me. I guess I'm just a chauvinistic male pig.

This. I really hate this.

Not the fact that people are white knights to me (that'd be a bit unwanted) but the fact that if I treat a girl nicely by opening doors or helping her over puddles, I'm apparently an asshole for being too archaic and not letting them express their independance. But what happens when I don't? I'm considered an asshole for being a bum and not helping them out and letting them do everything themselves!

Seriously girls, pro tip: those guys do shit for you because they attracted to women. It has nothing to do with the fact that they want sex (though they aren't mutually exclusive) because guys in steady, happy relationships still treat women "better" than they would men. It isn't because you're weak, because we all know women have the ability to open doors and walk over puddles and frag some jerkface in Halo. It's because that's just what we do. It's like how girls tend to want to look that much nicer when a guy they like the look of is around. It's just something we do as social creatures and it's not to offend, but to be a kind geature towards something we personally like. Take it for what it's meant to be: a compliment!

Women are told from a very young age that their bits are dirty, and wrong. Later on in life, they're told that being sexual in any sort of manner is wrong, and they're bad people for even thinking it.
And, at the same time, if they don't perform like a pornstar on their first go, there's something wrong with them.

So when some random guy in a game offers to `explain` the game to me, I should automatically be grateful? I'm just trying to play a game, I guess I shouldn't expect to be treated like I know what I'm doing. :p
I am happy when PEOPLE hold the door for me, but I also hold the door for others.
If you do it for people, awesome.

Seriously though, I dont mind white-knighting as much as the harrassment (cause the white-knighting happens much less). Also it has to do with a guy I knew who white-knighted me to death, and wouldn't let me hold a bag with a packet of gum and a can of coke in it. It. Gets. Old.

As a man I find my biggest problem is what society expects of me as a man. Also, awkard boners.

I hear you on that one. In high school the majority of my classes were had a larger female population. I got in more than one argument because some dude thought i was trying to get his girl.

Being a boy and so stereotypically obsessed with sex. It is very time-consuming...

Also, this may sound really weird, but I'm pretty jealous of women's ability to get pregnant. It seems super special, and I feel I'm missing out.

Why the hell can't a girl whose interested in a boy come up and talk to him instead of it always being the other way around?
This. I also hate that Guys actually follow the stereotype that they all have to be perverts. Personally, I'd much rather not be a guy, especially if it means I have to be just like every single one of them, or risk having friends. I have described myself as a tomboy many a time to my best friend, who is female, (Lucky her..)and she has agreed. or at least said that she's more masculine than me. I'll probably have more to say as I remember it.. I have a rant somewhere. but until then... THAT'S WHAT I THINK!

It might seem weird, but I'm pretty jealous of how women can grow a human inside them. I feel like I'm missing out.

Edit: This was meant to be an edit of my earlier post, but now it's a separate post! I just wanted to take out my silly half-joke and now look what happens.
