What's interesting is that in the five pages of this thread, I've heard people say things about what they want to happen to this guy or what will happen to him that are a hell of alot more horrible than what he actually did..which is funny..and sad.

They probably also seen the thread about the young woman who threw 7 puppies into a river during the winter. That's an actual thread, I am not kidding.

Possibly, I noticed that one earlier but couldn't get it to load, so I don't really have any idea what it was about other than the title XD. Though its probly hard to have an intellectual conversation about drowning puppies, since that particular activity is pretty much the default "Evil" activity to the point that it sounds like something out of a comic book.

There's video footage of a woman smiling, throwing innocent labrador puppies into a river in the winter. The worse bit is while she's throwing them she was making a joke about it and while they were soaring through the air, she was going "wheeee, fly puppy fly!" and she wasn't special needs, though she could use a few punches to the teeth, she just does it to insult innocent animals.

Yeah I tracked the video down and saw it a few minutes ago, it was very..unsettling, I think there was something about it that was just so strange that I couldn't form an emotion from it. I'm just gonna banish it from my mind, because I try not to get outraged about things that aren't part of my personal life, and this one is so blunt that its hard to do that =\.

Listen and repeat, sexuality means "I like it", not "I'll do anything to have it".

I understand the condition is not as black or white as the media portrays it, but I stand by my point; if they cannot be helped, they should be locked up and thrown away the key, regardless of how desperate or remorseful they are.

Question, though: Should that be done even if they have not performed an illegal act? You're citing who they are as a reason to lock them up as opposed to what they've done, which implies that we should lock up people for their thoughts and/or genetics.

If it is deemed that they are beyond helping, then I feel they should never be free into society. Since they have failed to respond to treatment, that usually means they cannot be 'cured,' which means that their baser instincts will eventually be overwhelmed, and they will do what they wish to a child, which-after certain treatments like chemical castration- could result in him/her killing the child.

Paedophiles are people. Like you and me. They have common sense.
I bet there are way more paedophiles than child molesters, don't you agree? Punishing all of them just because a few commit horrible crimes is like punishing all people who drink and have a driver's license just because some drink and drive.

And as as I said, most child molesters aren't paedophiles but "normal" relatives or close friends of the child.

Oh yes...personally, I too think getting nude pictures of a boy is way more humane than getting beat up in prison.

This kinda shit disgusts me on so many levels. First off you have this sick fuck. I'm not too worried about him, as I know the correctional facilities of this wonderful nation tend to take very good care of people like him. I have two sons, one of which is around the same age and loves video games. I'm not a stupid man. I know that there are people out there who have ill intentions for children. Do I own an Xbox live vision camera? I sure do. Do I leave it connected? No I do not. My son is 11 and doesn't really have a need to play online. He's perfectly content playing the single player campaigns of his favorite games and when he gets bored of playing by himself, he goes OUTSIDE, to play with other children his age! Seriously, how do you as a parent, leave a device connected to the internet and a camera attached to it and not sense any kind of threat. Thats like leaving a loaded gun on the floor of a daycare center and going apeshit at the end of the day when some kid winds up with a quarter-sized hole in his/her tiny little frame. This kid's parent's are fucking retarded. He's fuckin' 10 years old! he doesn't control what goes on in the house, the PARENT does! How do you not know what your kids are up to? I'm a nosy bastard when it comes to my kids, but as a parent I'm supposed to be. They can have all the fuckin freedom they want when they're 18, but for now, I'm worse than Big Brother and they have to live with it. The parents should be penalized for neglect and the offender should be shot on sight. No point in wasting taxpayer money so that this dude can be raped repeatedly before being killed.
