Honestly, I don't understand what a lot of guys find so great about being sexually active or having a huge penis. I for one wouldn't want a large penis anywhere near me. That just screams pain and do not want. I can understand how people might act like this in revenge of the standards for women to have large breasts. But for guys it seems like a "I'm more masculine than you therefor I deserve to be more socially dominant than you" thing which is stupid.
It's kinda the idea that bigger is better, which tends to be from the Americans, it's a common tone in the media which has spread across to other countries as well with their television.
Genital size in general tends to bog down men more then anything, as the idea of a tiny dick especially when it's not... how should I say, in it's prime, certainly doesn't make ya feel masculine.

MOT: I suspect this of being nothing but a normal fox (lets force our veiws on our viewers with odd data)tactic, much like the bullet storm can cause rape XD

I don't know about you but this smells like garbage to me.
Well, it IS from Fox News.

I know some people feel it's unfair to dismiss a new agency that has taken lying to an art form, but I wouldn't be surprised if the study was misrepresented by this article.

I think it has something to do with having sex.

If you didn't post a link to Fox News i'd have taken this so much more seriously. I can't even bring myself to click the link.

It seems like an abstinence thing like the other guys have said. Small penises seem to be an important issue for teenage boys....

Yeah, all I could think of while reading the article was "Someone's got an agenda..."

anyway, fox news is fox news. Besides, it said you lose length, not the whole thing completely.

So, in the article they're saying that they used hamsters to come up with the results of this study, because they "have physiologic similarities to humans". Okay, well, you can't always do these kinds of studies on live humans, so I'll let that slide.

But then I read this:

"Sex in adolescence also left the hamsters more prone to depression..."

Okay, so... maybe doesn't apply to humans quite so much? I'm pretty sure the workings of the human brain are a bit more complex than the hamster brain, especially when it comes to sexual relationships.

Then again, I don't really know anything about how clinical depression works. Maybe it's nature's way of telling you, "alright, you've done your job, passed along your genes, yadda-yadda, now go hurry up and die somewhere" post-jailbait-bang.

Though personally, I have to say I'm with Fox News on this one. Anything that motivates teens to not impregnate each other every five minutes and end up on bullshit MTV reality shows is fine by me.

It's a study on animals, it's really only speculative or hypothesis generating at the moment. To really have any idea you'd need a complete systematic review of all the studies on the topic, which would likely be cohort as you can't really do a randomised control trial, which have lower value as studies. You'd need a vast sample size of diverse people, probably in the hundreds of thousands at the least as you can't do RCTs.

Even then you could probably twist the evidence to make it go either way.

Haha bullshit.

Penis size is determined by genetics. When can we just accept this and move on to more important research?

This must be completely accurate everyone, its by Fox news! [/sarcasm]
I used to wonder who the hell watched fox news until I saw my grandmother watching something on it about people complaining to a bank about something. Of course the first thing she done was go write a letter to the bank when she didn't even know what she was aabout.

Sadly, I saw "foxnews" in the URL, and immediately dismissed it as unreliable.
I did exactly the same thing, though I don't see anything "sad" about it. If they want to blatantly push their abstinence propaganda I have no issue dismissing it.

For some reason I thought of that.

And, this is coming from Fox news, take it with a pinch of salt, one can still woo the ladies.
