Did anyone else ever play 'Shadow of Memories' on the PS2?
The basic premise was that your character, Eike, died at the start of the game (in a cutscene) and then you were given the chance to go back and prevent your own death. You could travel through time to the same town up to 500 years ago, and the detail was brilliant.
I loved that game with a passion (and OK, I don't want to reinforce the stereotypes about female gamers, but I really wanted Margarete's dress). I was hooked for hours on end.
It challenged your brain, actions had consequences, and you could get any one of five different endings...
Or so went the theory. My brother and I tried everything we could possibly think of and only ever managed to unlock two of them. Did anyone ever actually manage to unlock all five endings?
