Personally never done it, but I was wondering (possibly a lapse of judgement on my part) how many people do it. What does it feel like exactly? Is it less scratchy for one thing? I'm rather apprehensive because I'd like to not slit my balls open by accident.

Only occasionally to keep it managable, same with my manly armpits. Because I'm a hairy hairy man. Otherwise I only shave my face regularly. Mostly I subscribe to the idea that body hair is something that comes with being an adult man. That's the difference between men and boys. Men have hair on their loveshafts, boys don't. You're not a boy are you?

Besides, it feels uncomfortable. Like being stung by a thousand tiny needles. In your balls.

I'm not a sexist mind you. Women need body hair too. I want myself a bush. That's what a grown woman looks like. But you know, make sure you wash that shit with soap.

Yeah, I've shaved there. I do it once every few months - it helps prevent, erm, "entanglement", you know. At least here, hair would occasionally reach the length where it "interferes" with, umm, other stuff. How should I put this - were I Jewish or Muslim, I wouldn't have a problem, let's say.

I usually just use a trimmer - size 1 is good enough for me and it doesn't run the risk of anything other than hair to be caught up. You probably don't want anything else to be caught up. I've tried a razor, too, but that's just a pain, sometimes literally.

I've tried it a couple ways, hairy, shaved, trimmed, ect. Personally I think trimming is the best option because if you shave it bald it takes a lot of upkeep to keep it that way. Personally I look awful after a couple days after a shave and don't look normal again until I get a smooth layer of hair.

I am in the same boat if you have expectations of others it is only right you live up to them yourself. So I keep myself tidy for my gf so she will do the same back.

If I'm having sex then I shave. I just think it looks a lot better personally. Hair is just kinda gross looking to me. I'd also kind of insist on my partner at least trimming down most of it so it's only fair that I would.

It feels smooth after you do it, but be careful about avoiding razor burn. That shit is painful down there. You're not likely to slit your balls unless you're drunk or something. I've been doing it for years and haven't had a problem yet.

It does get very stubbly after a little while, so you have to either let it grow or shave it again shortly after.

In my experience, if you want to feel smooth down there (and it can be quite nice, even for solo fun), shaving is not the way to go. Even without the problem of nicks and cuts (you need a GOOD shaver and to be sure it ISN'T BLUNT for this to even be a halfway good idea) it gets raw and itchy afterwards, the skin really doesn't like it.

When it's a special enough occasion for me to bother (because it is a massive bother, it's bleedin' hard to reach and you can't see what you're doing unless you have a mirror on your floor) I use hair removal cream, it's a lot more gentle on the sensitive parts. Got to be careful not to get it into any super delicate parts, though, or it'll sting like a mo'fo.

I've not tried waxing before although I've intended to. My current boyfriend's really not bothered about body hair, though, so I don't have to stress about it so much.

I try to reduce it down to a square of "five-o-clock shadow" length around the junk but it those pesky little hairs that grow long but at that area where you can't use a razor, so you gotta scissor that shit. Really it a monthly thing at most when it comes down knowing I will have an encounter.

I trim but no shaving, to much upkeep.
Tried it once though, an ugly sight to behold.
It got really raw too after a few day and so with all negatives I don't think I'll ever try it again.

Since I am not in porn I do not shave my nether regions. I do keep it under control which involves trimming it once a week. If I dont I will have a full on osama beard down there within a month.

I don't go for the 1970's porn star bush on women either. Unless you shower/bathe right before you couple a heavy bush inevitably smells of urine during cunnilingus. Some men get into that but I'm not one of them.

I've tried a bit if trimming down there once, but it just made the whole thing look more pathetic than it already was. So I'd rather just have it hiding in the bushes, sorta speak.

If I had an active sex life it might be a whole other story, but unfortunately I don't and it's not.
