Personally never done it, but I was wondering (possibly a lapse of judgement on my part) how many people do it. What does it feel like exactly? Is it less scratchy for one thing? I'm rather apprehensive because I'd like to not slit my balls open by accident.

Shaving completely can be tricky to keep up, but you want to at least trim your bush, lol. If only for the sake of decency so that the woman/guy won't get a mouthful of hair.

This is a fun thread. I'm glad there are a lot of people here willing to maintain the garden as to keep a level playing field. It's no fair to expect your partner to do something you're not willing to do yourself.

I'm more of a trimmer to be honest, I like to keep a full garden but keep it neat. I would never shave to skin there, especially on the balls, and would never expect my partner to do it either.

On a related note, no matter how good an idea it seems at the time, and the temporary comfort it may generate, it is not worth it to shave your arse crack.

Tried it once purely out of curiosity. Not particularly comfortable (feels pretty itchy) and not particularly worth it if nobody's going to be seeing it anyway.

Mostly shaved, but not entirely. Enough so that it looks good and doesn't show when I'm dancing in hotpants (doing splits, in particular...) but not so much that I look like a nine-year-old..
It also makes me more sensitive to touch, which is nice in many ways.

I've never shaved there, hell... I rarely even shave my face.

I find pubic hair on a woman sexy, so I'm not being a hypocrite about it.

I shave it a few days before any time I think I'm likely to be having sex. If I shave it took early, it's sharp and would probably hurt like hell.

Otherwise, fuck shaving, it itches.

I leave mine alone in terms of hair maintenance, I got cellulitis in that general area (had 4 infections at once actually) and got landed in hospital for 3 days on IV antibiotics, took me 6 months to fully recover, lesson learned. SO whatever you do just be extremely wary of how you do it

I once shaved down there to see how it looked. It itched for about 3 days, it was a living hell, I'm never doing that again. I might trim and tidy up if a girlfriend insisted on it, but other than that I am quite happy to be fully bushed up.

I wouldn't mind if the woman was shaved down there or not. Sometimes its nice to run you hand through a nice bush of pubes.

I am a dude but I really dislike body hair other than arms, legs, beard etc. I keep all my body hair short and shave whenever hair appears under my jaw or neck, I have somewhat of a beard but only on my face.

I've shaved down there a few times in the past, but the nicks and the hair growing back is just too unpleasant of a sensation. So I trim (although once I did cut a bit too close with a small pair of scissors).

I like to keep it trimmed, if only because it just feels cleaner. For me, it's probably 30% for appearances and 70% hygiene.

Man. If I wasn't so lazy, I'd do it all the time. So smooooooth... It gets really itchy though when it grows back. As I said, if I wasn't lazy I wouldn't have to care about that.

Shaved a little bit in the past, but I think I have sensitive skin because no matter what I do I always break out in horrible pimples and ingrowns afterwards. Same thing whenever I've shaved/waxed my legs. So now I just shave my shaft and balls and trim back the rest with a beard trimmer.
