He shook his head. "Not quite. My Mom, she writes children's stories and her characters are really popular. There's merchandise of them everywhere. And my Dad produces shows for kids, so there's a bunch of stuff with those characters too. I just kinda got into the habit of buying a bunch of them and then it branched out into...all of this." he gestured to his room as a whole.

He beamed. "I'd like to think so." he'd have to tell his parents that, he was sure they'd be happy to hear it. "I'm glad you think so too."
"I ought to be getting rest... I have exhausted myself in my first day back, ja?" Eber gave Akinari's shoulder a friendly squeeze. "Do not allow Mori to intimidate you. There is nothing behind his words but empty threats." He smirked, "At least while I am around."
The exchange student let himself out, waving as he left, "Goodnight, Aki-kun."
And he went to go crash in bed for the few hours until they were scheduled to meet Hikaru.

You each part ways to return to the campus before the gates close. Whether it is to rest, or study, or in some cases prepare for a rough night... You find yourselves back in your rooms in the dormitories.
The time passes slowly while you watch the clock. Soon, you'll be meeting Hikaru outside the gates. When the clock reaches ten minutes 'til midnight, you head out...
Eber's alarm beeped at him until he pulled himself out of bed and slapped it off. It only took him a few moments to prepare: knife, flashlight, and now his new AMP. When he was ready, he crept out his window and out to the gates to meet with the others.

Kumiko woke up far before he alarm went off. 'Guess you can't escape anticipation even in sleep...' She got up, telling herself that tonight was just going to be a regular night. Well, regular for them and the tunnels. She put her running shorts on under her skirt and found a pair of (thankfully) steel toed boots and a flash light. Kumiko checked herself over, making sure she wasn't going to forget anything and then set out to meet up with the gang. Just as soon as she steps out of her door she runs back inside to grab her AMP.
She sets off once more, this time more than confident that she didn't forget anything else important.

Kojiro gathers his equipment, wondering how this new system will work. He puts new batteries in his flash light and grabs his AMP. 'I'm sure Isoroku will complain about it, but what can we do?'
He checks himself over one last time before heading out the door to meet the rest of the 'Security Team'. Who knew school life could be so complicated?

Isoroku was up and ready and had a bit of a bounce in his step. Wether it was from the divine food he'd had earlier in the evening or the excitement that hopefully awaited him later in the evening, he didn't know. Or care. Tonight he brought both pistols with him, though only the holster he'd gotten from the trunk of Kurado's car. As much as he wanted to, he didn't imagine walking out of campus with a gun on his hip would be the best of ideas; the other one hung against his ribs and could easily be hidden by a his jacket. The other gun went into the back of his pants and was covered by his shirt.
Then the AMP.
He didn't think too much about the trinket as he stuffed it into his pocket and made his way out of the dorm; maybe it would be useful, maybe not, but he wasn't going to leave it behind.

Shiori surfed on the net, looking around for anything that might pique her interest. She already managed to finish her homework in relatively good time considering she started late after getting back from TaeBowl. Math was the worst, but she fought through it. It was close enough for rock and roll, she was sure she had most of it right. Since she didn't know what else to do, she decided to do a little more research into the goings on that Seiya and Isoroku mentioned earlier. Yeah there were some blurbs in the paper back home, but they didn't cover much, and she hadn't really cared to find out before. All the talking about it today had piqued her interest.
"All right, let's see what we get from the local papers," she said to herself as she searched through the sites. "Hmm mm hmm...........ugh.........yikes. They are really graphic with these pictures.........what the? Where's her head?.........Seiya! Why is she in here?.......Ah OK, retraction. That's good I guess....Wow, there was a lot of really gruesome details in those articles. I wonder who or what could have done such a thing?"
Shiori let out a huge yawn. The rude awakening from this morning was catching up to her. "Haaaaah, wow, maybe I should just go to bed." She got up from the computer and switched from her uniform to her sleepwear. Just as quickly, she was under the blankets ready for a second attempt to get a good night's sleep at Akaito.
"All right, let's see what we get from the local papers," she said to herself as she searched through the sites. "Hmm mm hmm...........ugh.........yikes. Sure enough, it was parked at the side of the walk. She looked slightly nervous while driving it, hopefully less because of any inexperience and more out of respect for another's property; but she delivers the group safely downtown, though the neighborhood is less than savory.
"Just... keep your eyes open. Okay?"

Across from it, a second door led to the neighboring building, which looked out-of-use, except by troublemakers. It looked decades old, except for the door's lock, which was brand new.
Hikaru fished a key out of her pocket and opened the door. You briefly see what the room was meant to be--a broken-down room with a toilet and a hose in it--before the dingy colors swirl together and you see the blinding white-and-black of that room with the doors in the tunnels.
"I'll stay here--Don't worry, Shadows don't come here. Not very often, anyway." she smiled reassuringly, "You'll be able to communicate with me through the AMPs."

'A shit hole just changed into that shadow world...how fitting.' Kumiko looked at the portal, deciding if when she walked inside of it it would really be the black and white room or a toilet. Given what's been going on, she judged that it would safe to assume that it would indeed be the messed up world. She put her AMP in place, nodding to Seiya once before entering.
Kojiro watched the door change and gave a slight nod. 'So these portals really do pop up anywhere? I wonder if Seiya's sponsors are researching that too...probably.'

Yamada stared at it as well ad was more than ready to be down there and try the AMP. He nearly regretted how quiet he'd been but still just wasn't sure what he wanted to say. There was plenty on his mind, but what he wanted right now was just to get through some more of the tunnels and release some of his pent up frustrations, stop thinking for a little while. He looked somehow even more pensive than usual.
"Don't fix what isn't broken." Kumiko was for keeping their usual teams. 'I might accidentally forget to watch someone's back if we switch up now.'
