Yamada nodded, still smiling slightly. "Thank you, Mizushima-san. I think that I will." He loved the sound of that. "It may be taking on a lot, but I'm also sitting in on student council today. Are you looking forward to starting your extracurriculars this week?" He wasn't sure on how to handle small talk completely still, but was certainly trying.

--------------------

Satoshi sat right down, sort of slumped and started eating the rice balls. He shook his head, sort of staring at Eber at the question. "No. No sports. Ever. I'm not...so coordinated. You are though. Right, Fujita-kun, F-fr-fu-fleidu-Eber?" He blushed and looked down at his food, embarrassed at not being able to pronounce the name. He mumbled after eating half of one to stop himself from talking anymore. "These are good."

"I am dying for a game!" Kumiko perked up a bit. She could tell Yamada was struggling, but at least he was trying to be friendly. Sports and competition was something they could at least talk about on common ground. "I have been waiting to get back on the field and just give it everything I have, ya know? It's going to be great. And there are some promising new members! What about you?"

----

Akinari laughed, "That's okay! I can't say it either. Eber is so much easier, isn't it?" And then he lit up. "Thanks! I made them myself. I make our lunch everyday. It's good practice." For what, he didn't really know, but he enjoyed it nonetheless.

Lunch for Takuya had been- acceptable. He had met with a man of his Grandfathers. A very reasonable fellow. Together they went over a few things the younger Mori was interested in having done. Not anything that would be happening right away, mind you. Something for a rainy day. However first scouting needed to be done.

This couldn't be something their workers handled directly. That was acceptable at all. No instead he asked for few recruit candidates. There were always a few high school thugs looking to move up into the big leagues with some entry level work. And what better task for them than harassing another high school student? It would work out well for both parties. They'd get paid and Takuya would get a bug squashed.

He smirked as he sat in his car. Let out a heavy sigh. And rolled his head back over the seat.

He was in the back parking lot of one of his Grandfather's 'restaurants' content with himself and his date. His mind wandered, putting together an itinerary of things that had to be taken care of on his end to ensure this plan would work. But first things first: he pulled out his phone and texted Seiya.

Code:
Returning to campus. See you soon.
After a few more minutes of sitting he pulled on Miss Verna's hair, "Excuse me, but my lap is not a pillow. If you're done kindly sit up so I can take you home. I have more important things to deal with than pampered sluts."

"Excuse you!" the girl scoffed. "You've been rude this whole date!"

"And yet you still gave me what I wanted..." Takuya started up the car. "You and I just aren't going to work. I'll be sure to let Grandfather know."

The girl hissed in disgust. "You're really scum you know that!?"

Takuya turned to her with a blank look and smiled in an eerie way. "Do you want to see something-cool?" He nearly hissed the last word and reached out for the girls face. But his hand didn't grab her. Anyone walking by would have seen the car jump followed by a scream, before the girl fell out of the door as she opened it.

Before she was even off the ground the door swung shut, though Takuya didn't move to close it. He backed out the car and shouted at her 'Enjoy walking!' and speed off. He and Styx laughed all the way back to campus.

"The same members for Sojutsu as last year really. We're a small group, but they're talented. We're going to get into serious competition, tournament no matter what it takes this year." He was very certain and determined. "I'm glad for your team though.I should watch a practice. I've heard nothing but good things."

----------------------

That's exactly what Satoshi was wondering. He looked right at him. "Practice for what?"

"I-I..." Hikaru's phone rang; she checked it to find a text message from Takuya... So he'd be back before the Student Council meeting. She supposed that was good, although it wasn't what she was expecting. "Take care, Hasegawa-san."

The bell rings to end lunch, and your school day passes normally until the final bell releases you.

"That'd be great. I can use the pressure of someone I know watching me. Maybe I'll do even better. You guys in Sojutsu are so serious, your form is impeccable. I should go to one of your competitions. Some of those guys look like they are right out of the past. And that's a compliment. And I mean you too. You're damn talented with that spear."

When the bell rings to release the students, Kumiko heads over to the gym to get ready for soccer.

----

Akinari blinked. "Well I like to cook, so...to be a better cook I guess. I want anyone who tries it to like it." He nodded to himself in thought.

As soon as school was over Akinari could not have been more excited. It was finally time for clubs! He waved goodbye to Satoshi and waited for Eber so they could go to club together.

Yamada appreciated Mizushima's compliment greatly ad made a mental not to definitely go see that practice. When class was over he waved to the girl, then headed immediately out to the student council room.

---------------

Satoshi spent the rest of the class transfixed on the two students that had spent lunch with him trying to figure him out. What their angles were. It had been nice, but he was still just totally confused by it. When class was over though he ran right out to go and work on his new article for journalism, heading in the direction of the student council room.

"I will," Shiori said before the lunch bell rang.

Concentration on the rest of the classes was impossible, both from the lack of sleep and the trying to plan out her little trip to the tunnel. Shiori wasn't exactly telling the truth to Hikaru. She didn't have any weapons, per se. Nothing like a gun or mace or brass knuckles or anything like that that could be hidden from sight. She was trying to think of what she had that would be fit the criteria she gave Hikaru but drew a blank.

When the final bell rang she quickly picked up her stuff and headed for her dorm room. She had to look around for something. She didn't care too much about having a weapon before, but the way Hikaru was acting when she told her about the plan to begin with, it would probably be a good idea to have something.

Eber followed his classmate out to the swimming pool--thank God it was indoors during the brisk autumn season. The beginning of swim team's meet was led by a quick lecture from the coach, an introduction of new recruits, and the issue of swimwear.

------

Hikaru met the other Student Council members and the honorary guests in their room. She suggested that they wait to see if Mori-sama was going to arrive.

Kojiro was grateful for the end of class. So grateful. 'I am going right to my room and taking a nap!'

He stood up and nodded to Rina and Isoroku, "I don't know about you two but I need to catch sleep before I start my homework...But after that I want to talk to you two about last night, ok?"

----

Takuya arrived at campus before classes let out, but he didn't bother going to class. He waited in his car until the last bell rang before heading over to the student council room. He still received a few odd looks for being out of uniform, and for being so neatly dressed. He never bothered to wear his uniform properly, so maybe were surprised he bothered to wear anything else with such care.

He was sure Seiya would he waiting for him to arrive before starting the meeting so he took his time. And just as predicted again, when he opened the door they were all waiting for him. He greeted them with his usual smile before taking his place at the head of the room.

"Well, quit gawking, let's get on with the agenda, shall we?"

Rin stood up as well and gave him a small nod. A nap was an idea that interested her a great deal right now. "That's fine with me, I was planning on taking a nap myself. So um just give me a call whenever you want to meet okay?"

Since the soccer team didn't meet up until Friday, Kumiko decided she was going to do a few laps a day until their first meet.

---

Akinari was brimming withe excitement throughout the entire speech. The uniform jacket seemed kind of pointless when the actual uniform for the swim team were speedos for the males and one-pieces for the females. Regulation was regulation, he's get used to it sooner or later.

Eber nudged Akinari with his elbow; he stood out like a sore thumb, a robust European amongst the thinner Japanese. "You are ready?"

The coach directed each of the students to test their times against each other for three laps done in teams of four; he blew the whistle and bodies dove into the water. Some of the strokes delivered were skilled, some were not... but Eber kept neck and neck with Akinari every time their turn came up, their times improving by full seconds each round. The exercise was vigorous and refreshing, and by the end the practice had devolved into horseplay.

When Eber had finished pegging the others in the face with an inflatable ball, Coach blew the whistle again and the group hit the showers.

------

"Y-Yes, sir!"

Hikaru took the front, as she was more organized and more goal-oriented than the VP: she discussed the core functions of Student Council in Akaito for the benefit of the newcomers, then went over the finalized budget for the school clubs, the plans for the Culture Day festival, and takes suggestions for revisions to rules and standards.

The tryouts were great. Akinari was a bit surprised that Eber was just as quick in the water as he was on land. 'That's just not fair! He's gotta be mediocre at something!', but it fueled him to keep trying harder in both swimming and trying to to be smacked in the face with a water ball.

He never once lost him in the crowd of students, Eber was at least a head taller than their teacher and seemed to attract a bit more attention that usual. On the way to the community showers in the locker room, Akinari caught up with Eber. "Have you used a shared shower before? I'm sure you've heard about them before. But you don't have to follow our customs or anything."

Yamada listened intently to everything Seiya said, going as far to jot down notes. He wrote down a few ideas in his notebook, but didn't think any of them relevant enough to share. He though he might do so on the way to cram school. He intended to invite Seiya to walk with him, but wanted to wait until the others filed out of the room.

-----------

Satoshi wrote notes from outside the door, frowning at none of it being interesting or really that secretive. He'd been sure there was something going on, but he just didn't see any evidence of that at the moment ad it really started to bum him out, but he just kept it up.

Eber quirked an eyebrow.

"Locker rooms... Are they not all shared showers? Ah, but if there is some specific etiquette I ought to know, please inform me."

Judging by the speed by which he'd discarded his wet swimwear and slung a towel over his shoulder, the German obviously had no qualms about being nude.

"Oh geez! Ah!" Akinari flailed about in attempts to shield his eyes from all that nudity. Sure, he'd been in a public shower before, but this...this was different and he was obviously embarrassed to see it. "Uh, well, there are bath...towels that are used for the bath so you don't have to be so...so naked." he continued his schooling of etiquette with his hand firmly placed over his eyes as if it was glued there. "So, yeah. I'm...just...gonna go do...that now."

He started to head toward a shower, but realized that would be rather difficult with the total darkness provided by his fingers. Akinari whirled about and removed his hand. The wall was a good thing to stare at. 'The shower wall, the shower wall, how is he so comfortable being nude? I thought foreigners would be a bit more shy about--, the shower wall, the shower wall.'

He only looked more perplexed, "Why would one... wear a towel into the water? Towels are for drying, not for getting wet." Eber followed behind Akinari, obviously expecting an answer.

'Oh for the love of-! Why is he--' For the first time ever, Akinari knew what a personal bubble was and that this is what it must have felt like for everyone's space he invaded. "I--it's just so...you don't have to show...anything or-" He really wished he had one of those bath towels. He became increasingly aware of everyone's nudity the longer the conversation went on. "It's just an option. You know, that you could choose."

"I choose not to wear one, then." Eber grinned and went about his business showering, drying, and pulling his uniform back on. If anyone else had a problem with his mannerisms, they didn't say anything about it... He probably wouldn't have changed anything anyway.

"I suppose I ought to start homework when I return. Walk with me?"
