Kumiko stretched, feeling decently rested. Even if she wasn't up to it, class would start sooner or later and she'd have to be there. She got up and showered off the night. It was about time to get going. Those AMPs were pretty great, she wasn't nearly as fatigued as she used to be when they went exploring.

She grabbed an apple of the way out the door, taking small bites of it as she trotted off towards campus.

Akinari had gotten up particularly early today. Today the swim team would meet and that meant he just had to make a special swim related bento for both Eber and himself. Little swimmers made of rice competing in a sea of seaweeds and other assorted traditional foods. He dropped that off in his locker before doubling back towards the dorms to meet up with his friend for a bit of a run.

When they had finished their run and Eber had had his shower in the locker room, he met Akinari again in the classroom, cramming a vending machine melon bread into his mouth. He still looked tired, but his nap before the journey made it easier to bear.

"Feeling like your legs are strengthening?"

"Y-Yes, absolutely!"

Hikaru tucked her phone back into her bag and slung it over her shoulder, heading out to meet Takuya.

He nodded his head, waiting for Eber to finish his little snack before handing him a more suitable breakfast from his box. At least it was something where eating with your hands was acceptable. "Yes! I'll need them to be too, with swim team. And it already feels like baseball is around the corner!"

Rin slapped her alarm clock tiredly. Fighting her protesting body, she slowly sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes. She felt like she hadn't even slept since she got in last night. She pushed herself to her feet and made her way to the bathroom to get ready for school. A quick shower woke Rin up a great deal and left her feeling somewhat better.

She quickly dressed and paused in front of her rooms mirror to fix her hair. She thought back to the previous night. 'Hmm if Seiya knew about those distortions why didn't she warn us. Hm maybe I should bring it up with Kojiro and Isoroku.' She finished with her hair and gave herself one final glance in the mirror before she grabbed her bag and left for school.

Takuya waited for Seiya outside the front gate. He got several looks from students. Some trying to be polite as they walked by not wanting to bring his wrath down upon them; others stopping to look at the car. Another new car.

A black Ferrari 599.

Most students wondered where did he get this money? They knew Akito accepted high end students, but the Mori's money was excessive. Takuya just had a new car a week ago...And the rest stared at the girl in the car. Another marriage prospect. Five feet, black hair, green eyes, olive skin. Clearly another foreign girl. One had to wonder if was wonderful begin Takuya with all the perks- or terrible with that dash of insanity.

If you were to ask him he would tell you ti was boring. he and Styx would tell you that.

He smirked as he felt his partner recoil in disgust as Seiya came rushing to the front of the school She was always so punctual. It was much appreciated.

"Good morning, Seiya-san." He stood up off the car, "How was the first night of the security team? Did it go well?"

'-Exploring off campus without me? Wretched.'

"As you can see," he motioned to the car, "I must play entertainer today, and I am meeting with a few of Grandfathers- friends. So I need you to run Student Council and drop off my homework." He handed her his papers in two separate folders. "Can you handle it?"

Eber blinked, face falling.

"Swim team," he said stiffly, "That is tonight, is it..."

He'd completely forgotten. So busy during the week, even without the tunnels on the side...

Hikaru took the folders, of course, eyeing the girl in the car wistfully. "Will you be gone all day...?" She looked down at the floor, toeing the crack in the concrete, "Why don't you call me when you get back?"

Takuya smirked at Seiya's reaction, he reached out and took her hand. "I will call you as soon as I am back. You need not worry, Seiya," Takuya looked over at the girl in the car.

"Miss Verna is quite pleasing on the eyes, but after talking to her for just a few short minutes I can tell our time together will be short. We have nothing in common." he released Seiya's hand and started to move around to the drivers side of the car. "Besides I prefer a woman of intellect who can take care of things without me."

He opened the door and waved to her before getting inside and driving off. His date for the promptly asked him why he was having such pleasantries with the girl at the school at Takuya replied she was no one of importance. She just needs reassuring to do her job.

Kojiro arrived at class and looked around, 'Hmn, Rin and Isoroku aren't here yet...'

He sat down at his seat and started to review his notes. He may as well stay on top of his class work while he could. Who knew when I night at the tunnels would take too long or exhaust him like the first night.

Rin finally reached the classroom, and felt at least for the time being mostly awake. She quickly spotted Kojiro and took her seat next to him. "Good morning Kojiro. Are you catching up on school work?"

Akinari searched Eber's face. "What's the matter? I though you were looking forward to clubs. Isn't that what we were running for in the first place? Did you study too late again?" He pat Eber on the shoulder, telling him to eat up. "You should rest a bit more. Maybe catch a few minutes of sleep a lunch? So you be too tired after school."

He chuckled, mouth full of food, "When will I have the time for rest now? I think I will still make high marks in swimming... Do not go easy on me today, all right?"

Shiori was barely able to lift herself out of bed this morning. She didn't get near enough sleep to make up for the nightmare. Right now, she wouldn't look out of place as an extra in a zombie movie. She sleepwalked through her usual morning preparations, and skipped her usual morning run. No way would she have been able to survive both jogging and class in her current state.

She slowly made her way towards the school, as she did, she thought she saw Hikaru at the gate, talking with someone. She couldn't make the other person out. It was dismissed as her weary eyes playing tricks on her though, and she headed up to the top floor classroom. Once she arrived, she settled into her window seat and immediately placed her head on her desk, in a vain attempt to grab a few extra Z's before class started.

Kojiro looked up from his book. "Yeah, trying to get a head start on some things...I figured eventually my schedule will get so busy somedays I will have to go without something- either sleep or homework."

Rin gave a small nod and decided to take the time to go over some of her work. As she pulled out her notes and such from her bag she looked over at Kojiro. "Um, Kojiro do you think there might be other things like those distortions that Seiya-sempai didn't warn us about?" Rin disliked making it sound like an accusation like that. But she felt that was something Seiya could have warned them about.

Kumiko got to class a little later than usual. She spent too much time watching the usual group of boys go through their morning routine of running. Well, she was more or less just watching Eber. She should run more...At least she made in before the bell.

"Of course not," He resisted his urge to tell him not to talk with his mouth full like that. "I still have to beat you at something!" Akinari was still quite determined to best Eber at something...anything that wasn't cooking.

Yamada walked past the front gate on his way to class. He'd missed running that morning because he'd stayed up even after returning to the dorms to finish some school work. All of this was truly starting to take a toll on him, but he tried not to show how tired he was.

He glanced up on his way to class and saw Mori and Seiya talking by yet another fancy, imported car. The extravagance was far too much. Too over the top in his opinion. It looked like there was someone else in the car but he couldn't tell. Something about this really bothered him. Seeing them together was just unsettling. It shouldn't be. They were both leaders of student council. In all reality they really Should be together, bu it just rubbed him the wrong way every time he saw it.

He made his way to class, once gain stuck in thought and started to study, barely noticing the other students and wondering vaguely how he was going to keep himself awake.

Satoshi woke late in the morning and looked up at his clock, surprised he was up in time. He threw together a lunch of mostly snack foods and packed books and such for the day. He had a new story he wanted to work on after journalism yesterday and he had a feeling he might get just the chance to start today. He ran a brush quickly through his unruly hair, though it did little to tame it, finished dressing, grabbed his bag and ran out the door to see if he could get anything down before class.

He hurried past the front gates as well, the doubled right back when he saw the extravagant car, immediately interested. He approached, but stayed out of the way trying to hear what Mori was saying to Seiya. Who was that woman in the car? Was she was she working for him too? He wondered how he had all that power. Maybe he really was some sort of villain or boss to someone. He acted that way. He wondered if the women would do his bidding no matter what. Maybe he even had an army of them. He grabbed a pad and pen from his bag and started scribbling down his every random thought on the subject.

Eber nodded; having never seen his classmate swim, he wasn't sure if he ought to be worried or not... "We will have fun today, ja?" He grinned and fished out his schoolbooks to study for the last few moments before class began.

Hikaru left the front gate once Takuya had driven away, making a bee-line for the school building and the third year class she belonged to. She saw the new girl, Hasegawa-san, she remembered, asleep at her desk... Poor thing. She hoped the move wasn't too stressful on her. Tip-toeing around her, she slid into her own desk.

Kojiro thought about it for a moment before nodding. "no there are probably other things she's not telling us about. I don't think they are dangerous, just common place. So common place she probably thinks nothing of them...like she said for her the portal was a standard thing."

He goes back to his work, "But we can ask her what other things are 'standard' for her the next time we meet."

Rin gave a small nod and turned back to her own work. 'If that was common place I hope we don't find something uncommon.'

Shiori lifted her head. Her plan wasn't working. The desk was not an acceptable substitute for her pillow. "Sigh," she sighed. "These dreams are going to kill me." She got out her notebook to try and look attentive as the lesson was set to begin shortly.

Hikaru tilted her head, "Ha--"

And that's as far as she got before the bell rang. Class begins: yesterday's assignments were handed in, and you're treated to lectures in the topics of History, Literature, English and Biology. The science teacher promises his students that tomorrow they'll conduct an experiment, but nothing nearly as exciting happens today.

The lunch bell rings, so Hikaru tries again:

"Hasegawa-san, are you all right?"
