Isoroku stood up.

"We're going down tomorrow anyway. If you want to go weapon-shopping, then fine. I could use a bigger gun. Good luck finding another pointy-stick. Later."

The sophomore returned to the Akaito dorms, agitated, but feeling as though he'd gotten his point across.

Kojiro leaned back in his seat and scowled. "God damn it...sometimes I hate him. He's so pigheaded..." He stands up. "Come on Rin, let's go see what we can find."

Rin nodded slowly and got up. She had hoped Isoroku would not have taken it so badly. She gave a small smile at Kojiro since he seemed almost as upset as isoroku had been. "Hey don't worry, maybe he will um calm down before tomorrow?"

Kojiro shrugged, "Who knows...his temperament is worse than Kumiko's sometimes..." HE stopped and looked at Rin, "Don't ever repeat that to either of them." He stood up and left some money on the table for the bill. "Let's get out of here."

Kojiro lead Rin form TaeBowl out a few used bookstores until she found a book sufficient enough to act as a weapon. He decided to put off buying something for himself until he could afford something a bit better. After they returned to the school Kojiro split up from Rin to get done with his stack of homework.

Rin bid Kojiro a good night. She had found a decent sized book thanks to Kojiro's help. She could only hope it would last longer than her other one. As she arrived at her dorm room she quickly kicked her shoes off to finish the last bit of her homework so she could get to bed.

[b]THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 1st, 2016[/b]

Six o'clock comes much too soon...

Eber is up and ready immediately for his morning jog. The impending trip to the tunnels tonight is fuel for him to prepare physically and mentally for the challenge. Hikaru has a rougher time getting up: this morning is the first morning in her scholastic career that she's hit the "snooze" button on her alarm. Concern mounts the forefront of her mind. There are too many people to worry about, to shelter and protect. To supervise...

Isoroku wakes in a better mood than he fell asleep in. He puts very little effort into preparing for the school day, as usual.

As soon as her alarm went off Kumiko was thankful she went back to her room earlier than usual. Though she did bullshit around on her homework last night and that was probably the most regretful choice on her part. How many problems did she actually get right? Next time, she'd have to focus instead of letting her mind run elsewhere.

When she was dressed and prettied up, she headed straight for campus feeling pumped up. It was unclear if it was for their trip back into the tunnels tonight or for the promise of the glistening foreign student that would be bounding up the steps later. Either way, Kumiko waited on the steps to get her hello in for the day.

Akinari woke up wondering just what he did yesterday to make him so tired and sore. It was just a classroom and yet it drained him just like the locker room did. He lay in bed for a while, listening to his alarm clock scream louder and louder to get him up. When he finally did get out of bed and stop the crying clock, he sat sleepily in front of his computer to talk with his parents for a bit.

"I'm sorry," he rubbed his eyes. "I'm still sleepy. It was good to see your faces agai--AH! Sorry! I forgot to--ohhowcouldIforget? I gotta go! Love you guys!" The boy clicked out of the window and rushed to dress himself. It occurred to him that he didn't cook a thing last night for breakfast or for lunch.

He dashed out his door and knocked insistently at his door. "Ooooi! Eber-kun!"

Shiori rose slowly from her bed. She regretted spending a little more time than she probably should last night on her homework, but it had been such a good day. She wanted to make sure she didn't wreck it by not making sure her work was complete. She plodded through her morning rituals and scooped up her stuff for class.

'Shoot that's right. Hikaru's Security thing is today. Gotta make sure I remember to go to that.'

She gave a quick glance over her room, confident she didn't forget anything, then headed out the door for class.

Kojiro awoke, a little less annoyed than he had been when he went to bed. He could only hope Isoroku would be in a better mood today, a bit more cooperative for the tunnel excursion. He gathered up his homework- which surprisingly he focused on very well last night, and his gear for Kendo Club.

He couldn't contain his excitement for the first meeting of club for the year. It would make him very tired for the tunnels, but he was still looking forward to it.

Takuya and Styx didn't sleep. At all. But that wasn't any more unusual than normal. He rose from bed, where they had been lying down thinking- and began to get ready for the day. Seiya wanted him to be...a mentor to Tsukiyomi. The idea made their stomach churn. They would rather be dead than seen with such a lowly human being.

Perhaps the freshman could have an unfortunate accident that would result in his removal for the rest of the school term. Styx cackled over his shoulder. It would be a nice turn of events. Besides, even the timid and awkward Fujita could see Tsukiyomi really did not have the proper survival instinct to listen to Takuya.

Well they could always beat it into him...

He picked up their bag and smirked. They shall see how the day goes...but for certain, they felt they should crash the Security Team again.

Rin felt nervous as soon as she woke up this morning. It wasn't anything about the tunnels, though she did always feel a bit edgy before they went. But for right now she was more concerned about the music clubs first meeting today. She hadn't had much of a chance to play since she'd moved into the dorms, and she wasn't feeling to excited by the prospect of having to play with so many other people in a room with her.


"It'll be fine...probably." she shook her head and got out of bed. If she laid there thinking about it, she'd just work herself up. 'Maybe a hot shower will help focus me.' she nodded to herself and quickly got cleaned up for class.

Her shower did leave her feeling a bit more focused. She grabbed her bag and made sure to place her finished homework from the previous night. She also made sure to grab her violin case, and did her best to ignore the nervous feeling that settled in her stomach. She gave a small sigh and left her room, hoping class would be busy today.

Eber called through the door to let his friend know it was open. Inside, Eber was already in his sweats and was sitting on the bed tying the laces on his sneakers. His TV was on and switched to the news, which recapped the ending tennis tournament overseas. On his desk was the last of his homework, his knife in its leather cover, and an odd little ear piece...

"Ready to go?"

"Morning, Rin." Isoroku slid into his desk, glancing down at the violin case in genuine puzzlement, "Uh... Look, I know you said you wanted a new weapon, but..."

Akinari bowed as deeply as he could as soon as the door was open. "I am so sorry! I completely forgot to cook yesterday. With all the cleaning and Mori-senpai and--If I go back right now, I might be able to make something small for lunch! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"

The German laughed at his overzealous apology, more amused than anything. Still, he thought maybe it would be forgivable to play along with the disappointment he should so obviously be feeling.

"Ah... I see you have chosen Mori-senpai over me, Aki-kun... I suppose I shall soon waste away to bone with skin on it, ja?"

Akinari felt just awful seeing that look of disappointment on Eber's face. But he wasn't just going to let him down like that. "I just forgot! I was so tired." he knocks on the side of his temple. "I'll go back and make something right away! You need to eat! You'll have to run without me, okay?"

He grabbed the back of his collar and pulled him back inside when he went to leave. "Akinari! It is all right, I am just having the fun with you!" Eber shook his head in exasperation. "You worked very hard last night. I do not think you should have done it... But I would not add to the list of chores." He leaned down to be at eye level with the shorter boy, "How about Eber takes care of lunch today, Aki-kun?"

He nodded his head almost immediately, "A-alright. But I'll make up for it, okay? I'll think of something." Akinari looked himself over, it wasn't the best get up for running, but at least it wasn't his pajamas. He started to work over in his head how he was going to balance school, exercise, cooking, club, and cleaning; but if Eber was able to balance more activities than Akinari could think of, he should be able to manage. "Then, let's get going."

"Ah good morning Isoroku." Rin was glad Isoroku seemed to be in better spirits than when he had left last night. However his comment confused her for a moment. "No it is um not a weapon. I am um just in the music club, and today is our first meeting." She shifted in her seat and glanced away from him partly out of being embarrassed and partly out of feeling nervous.

Kojiro arrived at class shortly after Isoroku. He gave a nod to his friends as he approached his desk. "Hey guys. Have a good night's rest?"

He set down his bag for Kendo practice and flopped into his seat.

Takuya made his way to the senior's floor he pulled out his phone and text Seiya.

 Meet me for lunch in the Student Council Room.

Eber left with the other freshman for their morning run.

"I didn't know you were in Music Club. Unless I did. That's neat." Isoroku gave Kojiro a nod of acknowledgement when he greeted them, "So, is that a violin in that case or a ukelele?"
