Rin steadied herself on her feet. Her vision was slightly blurred but it was clearing quickly. She knew it would be bad if that happened again. Again she called out Inari "Bufu!" Inari danced again throwing ice towards the monster. Rin rushed forward towards the monster, and swung her book hard at it's head.

The beast looks stunned by the lightning attack from Kojiro--the twin onslaughts from Kumiko and Rin beat it in either direction and then down to the floor.

The enemy is down! Now's your chance!

Kojiro upon seeing the monster fall to the ground swings his rapier, "En-guard, Mother Fucker!" He charged forward at the beast leading the German, Mizushima, and Rin into an all out attack on the shadow.

Kumiko rushed forward to the fallen enemy and dropped an axe kick onto it's struggling body. Immediately after she stomped the figure, digging her heels into it mercilessly.

 

[Cinnonym]

Eber joined in the fray, assisting Kumiko with stomping on the thing until it recovered its senses, blasting all of you back with a burst of pure force magic.

The Shadow lashed out vindictively against Kojiro, slashing him across the chest with an arm that had become one long talon; it returned the favor to Kumiko next, kicking her squarely in the chest in a crude imitation of the girl's skill.

Rin rushed towards the fallen enemy, and brought the spine of her book down hard into the center of it's body.

Kojiro cried out in pain as the monster targeted him again. He stabbed at it with his sword, and Quetzalcoatl burst forth behind him. Swinging its wings, it cleaved the monster, returning the slash with invisible talons.

Kumiko head whipped around to see Ishikawa be cut into. She gasped, "Koji-!" before she could get the boy's name out all the air in her chest was forcibly pushed out. She was floored, groaning in pain as she clutched her chest. "*****." she coughed out.

She got to her feet again. Collecting herself before assaulting it with Baldr's force once again.

Rin panicked slightly seeing both Kojiro and Mizushima get hit. "Bufu!" she summoned Inari again to hurl shards of ice towards the monster. Rin rushed in again under the cover of ice and swung the spine of her book straight towards the monsters head.

The Shadow staggered as the ice daggers ripped through its body and it shrieked, dodging Rin's physical attack and knocking her back strongly. Eber caught the falling girl by the shoulders until she regained her balance and then attacked in tandem with his Persona as payback.

The Shadow threw up its hands and the train car trembled; you feel a force rip through you, invisible blades that only barely keep from taking your heads.

Kojiro follows suit after Eber and charges forward. He makes two quick thrust with his sword at the monster determined to take her out.

Isoroku finally knocked the grogginess clear of his head and joined the battle. He frowned as he saw the thing dodge aside from Rin's attack.

"Leviathan?"

The leering serpent coiled its tail around him affectionately as it awaited instructions.

"Sukunda."

It seemed to growl in approval as it hit the shadow monster with the spell.

"Now! Attack it now!" Isoroku commanded the others. To emphasize his point, he drew his pistol, stopping briefly to, once again, release the safety and chamber a round.

Experimentally, he aimed for the thing's masked face, and let off two rounds.

Kumiko began to question if they were even hurting the damn thing. With every barrage of attacks the team threw at the shadow it seemed to come back at them ten fold. She felt as if there were tiny saws tearing at her skin.

This monster had to die or she was going down trying.

Her heard and torso dipped below her waistline to propel herself upwards with her left leg. Her right leg swung around after her left in a consecutive circle, smacking the mask wearing woman in the face with the flat of her foot.

Eber engages the enemy again before Kumiko is even clear--he ducks up under his senpai's leg and stabs the Shadow brutally in the gut before withdrawing.

The boss is weakening: she fails to cast a Magaru so instead her shifting arms lift Isoroku up over her head and throw him across the car for damage.

Your attacks seem to be doing more damage!

Kojiro watched the boss wobble in her attacks. He lifts his rapier and calls Quetzalcoatl again. He and his persona smile devilishly as another bolt of lighting strikes the shadow.

Isoroku wiped blood from under his nose and cursed, stumbling into a crouch, using a seat for cover.

Leviathan slithered up the wall of the train car, lunging in at the shadow creature to plunge its fangs deep into its center mass, shaking its head viciously.

"Dammit! Yoshida!" she grit her teeth. Kumiko bounced from one leg to the other, warming her self up for a running kick. Her foot landed in the middle of the woman's stomach and the force made her teeter backwards a bit.

The Shadow reels back with a howl when Mizushima's kick connects--it sways upright, thrashing its amorphous body, and then sinks into itself, melting into the floor. Eber approaches it cautiously, but whatever he was planning on doing with the remains becomes moot when they begin to bubble and dissolve into nothingness. He lets out his held breath in a burst and slumps over, bracing his hands against his knees.

"It is over..."

Suddenly he stiffens and looks up.

"The train has not stopped!"

Indeed, you are still careening down the tunnels, though the vortex is gone. If this speed keeps up, you'll come off the tracks and collide with a wall. You are still in danger.

Kojiro looked around frantically. "Oh crap...how do we stop this thing!?" He turned to Isoroku and Rin, "Do either you know how to stop a train?! Fuck can we even get out of this car up to the engine room?"

Isoroku curses and runs to the front of the car, trying the door. If it doesn't open, Leviathan slams its bulk into it in an attempt at persuasion.

"If we get to the conductor's area, there's almost certainly an emergency brake..."
