Kojiro looked at the whining boy on his arm, holy crap this kid was animated. "Um, um....well maybe if we check in on Rin and Seiya...maybe she can stop them from expelling Frimun." He pat the younger boy on the head. "It will be ok; don't panic."

For some reason, this out burst reminded him of his younger siblings. He instantly shifted into his 'brotherly' mode like when he was at home. "Come on," He stood calmly, hiding his own sense of panic. "Let's go to the library."

"Junsui-san." Hikaru took another step forward, speaking quietly, "You don't even know what it is, do you?"

For some reason Seiya's demeanor was making Rin more nervous. "Why um don't you tell me if you know then."

Yamada heard the word "library" slip from Kojiro's lips and his eyes widened. He looked around quickly for a place to hide and settled on a nearby janitor's closet. He walked briskly to it but didn't run, not wanting to rouse suspicion as he hid in the small room, leaving it just cracked open so he could hear them and crouching down some. It would be just his luck to get caught the only time he did something this sneaky. His heart raced some, worried that someone could have seen him.

She was beginning to become exasperated and it showed; she sighed in frustration and turned away, picking at the spine of the nearest book. "You can't rely on it for everything. If you don't know how to use it properly, it'll consume you whole!" Hikaru took a breath and counted to six before continuing. "Trust me. There's already a small group of us patrolling the Underground. We have the situation under control."

"Alright." he packed up the bento and placed it back into his bag. "Sorry to make you wait." he gave a nod to the kind boy to show that he would follow.

Eber popped the tab on his melon soda as he stood in the hallway, eyebrow quirked. He stepped over to the janitor's closet and peered in the crack of the door without opening it. "What are you doing?"

Rin took a step towards her. "Huh? Then why didn't you say something last night? You can't just expect us to leave it alone after what we saw. Besides Igor and Eleanor said it was our duty to fight the shadows." She took another step towards Seiya. "I um didn't mean to be difficult, but when I talked with the others earlier I um guess I got a little nervous as to how to handle this." She tried to meet Seiya's eyes. "I really do just want to know more about it Seiya-sempai."

Kojiro smiled and nodded, "Come on then...what's your name?" He asked as they walked out into the hall.

His heart stood still for a moment. He spoke in as loud a whisper as he could allow. "Please just let this go for now." He pressed himself further against the wall and prayed to anyone that was listening that he would do as he requested. He heard the others coming into the hall and was terrified that they'd heard him whisper. He reached out and grabbed onto a random cleaner to use as a lose alibi if someone opened the door.

"The others?" Hikaru's eyebrow quirked upward, "So, you told them we were meeting. That's just as well I suppose... I'm sorry, Junsui-san, but I can't allow you and your friends to get involved. You either stay on campus and away from that place or... Or you'll get expelled. I mean it. You can't handle this sort of work." She looked the other girl over, looking somewhat apologetic for being so harsh. "...You seem a lot sweeter than that, Junsui."

 

[Daren58]

Rin felt upset at Seiya's words. "S..so you can't just expect us to do that. B..besides if we get expelled there's nothing to stop us from doing it, is there?" Rin racked her mind trying to find something to say to the other girl. "We beat the monster on the train. Do you really think they or the persona's will just go away if we ignore it?" She wanted Seiya to understand she just wanted to know more.

Isoroku frowned. He wasn't really clear why they were taking on first-year baggage. Nevertheless, he opted not to say anything.

However, his silence quickly ended as he turned and led the way into the hallway, at which point he immediately saw Eber standing there, talking to something in the Janitor's closet.

"Well, fucking look at this."

He strode over. "Hey! So what, they got you doing custodial work now?"

She glanced at her wristlet watch. "Ok, what the hell, chick?" she was growing impatient. "What is taking you so damn long?" she grumbled. "This day...this day..."

Kumiko pushed off the wall and entered the library. 'Time for the greatest show on Earth.'

"Ah! Ri-bon!" she jogged towards her, "I've been looking for you all over! Lunch isn't going to last forever, you know. You're supposed to be helping me and the girls, remember?" she brought her attention to Seiya. "Excuse me, Seiya-senpai." she gave a deep bow. "Do you mind if I kidnap her? I need her brain. So glad Mori-san called her out. How would we ever figure out who the best study partners were without him? Shall we go, Ri-bon?"

"Fujita." he walked behind. "What about you two?"

But by the time he reached the hallway the question was kind of pushed aside. "Eber-kun! Where have you been? Did they lock you up or something?"

Hikaru's head tilted to a degree of perplexity, "Oh, M-Mizushima? Are the two of you friends?" She looked at the shy girl with no small amount of suspicion. "...I see. Yes, I believe that we're done here, aren't we, Junsui-san? I know I've certainly made my position clear."

Eber looked over his shoulder and quickly turned, leaning up against the door and closing it in the process. "No thank you. I am quite through cleaning on behalf of the school. ...What are all of you doing here in any case...?"

Kojiro was revealed, yet nervous to see Fridmund. Why'd they let him go so easily? He followed by Fujita and Isoroku. "Hey, Frimun! Glad you're in one piece."

Rin gave a weak nod, and turned to leave with Mizushima. She felt sad that she didn't find anything out really. she also felt worried Seiya was upset with her aggressive approach. She knew it wasn't like her, but the last day had been a very strange one. She just wanted to know more about what had happened.

"We're looking for you! We were supposed to meet for lunch, remember? We haven't really been able to keep everyone together, though... still, I've got some questions for you, about..."

he glanced at Fujita.

"Well, when you have a second to talk it private."

 

[ShadowFolk]

"We're just getting to know each other." she smiled, linking arms with the timid girl. "She's not as weird as people say! Thanks a bunch, Seiya-senpai." she waved with her free arm. "Come on, Ri-bon. I've got a couple of minutes left, lets jam as much information in this head of mine as we can, kay?" she steered Junsui away.

"Akinari threw his hands into the air, "They said you were getting expelled! Is it true? Well I guess that can't be true if you're still on campus. But that's great that you're not getting tossed out! You're not, right?"

 

[Cinnonym]

Eber's eyes also flicked to Akinari, nodding, "Right... Sorry, Aki-kun. We will talk about it later. Could you keep that meal safe for me? I am starving." He clapped the smaller boy on the shoulder and turned to leave with the rest of them.
