Kojiro backs up until he hist the wall as the hand comes at them. "OOOO-KAY! I think we need the others for this...all of those in favor of fighting giant shadow with a party of six -FUCKING RUN!"

He reached out and grabbed both Rin and Isoroku, he actually didn't care if they wanted to stay and fight or not. He was not risking it! They were already down in stamina from their skirmishes earlier...this was not something he felt they should do just the three of them. he started to pull them back along the wall as fast as he could before their own shock wore off and their legs started to work.

he didn't look back to see if that hand was following them.

It took Kumiko's brain a few seconds to register that this was not some movie. Those were not special effects. It was all taking place right before them and the color drained from her face. The entire experience surpassed any her mind could have conceived and it was terrifying.

Bells?

She whips around as if she could find the source of the bells, but her eyes just dart about in panic. 'Shit! I knew we should have just stayed back!'

"Guys, I don't like this! Let's get the hell out of here!" Kumiko's voice was drenched in fear.

'We aren't prepared for this! There's no telling what those bells could be signaling.'

Rin felt her body go stiff as the hand appeared. She heard Kojiro start yelling but he sounded so far away. Rin jerked as she felt something pull at her. It took her a few seconds to realize Kojiro was pulling her along. 'How could one be so big?' She shook her head and pumped her legs doing her best to keep up with the other two.

"DAMNIT Kojiro let met me go" Isoroku stumbled backward, fighting against Kojiro's grasp. He wanted to see this thing. He wanted to fight this thing. To bask in whatever fury it had to offer and send it right back down into that pit licking its wounds in fear. As he was dragged backward he flung his arm out and fired off the entirety of his remaining clip at the hand but there was little more he could do than that.

He managed to work himself free from Kojiro's unwanted retreat...but it seemed he was the only one not running. He believed the three of them could take this thing, even after what they'd been through this evening, but by himself? That was pushing it.

"Fucking hell..." After a moment's hesitation he turned and high tailed it out of there, running after Rin as she passed.

Yamada nodded immediately, not fighting it this time. "You're right. This is too much. Come on!" He turned for the door they'd just come through, terrified that it wasn't going to be there at all. This was too surreal. The construction, the way it was running in reverse. Seiya and whoever she was with. He had no idea if they were real or just figments caused by this deranged room. His fingers twitched at his spear nervously.

He may have wanted to fight, wanted to learn more and just get to the root of this, but he wasn't going to stand for all of them getting hurt over it now. They had to regroup on this, but for now they just needed to get out.

"Come on, Eber! Let's go!" She tugged at his arm to get him moving and then sprinted back the way they came. If they had to come back here, at least they would know to expect something big and probably nasty. They would have to make sure to spend their energy wisely before making it back to this point. But at the moment, Kumiko's only concern was with just how fast her legs could carry her to safety.

Both parties escape their respective branches: As you run, the entirety of the subway system shakes and rattles, such that you fear it may cave in on you and bury you alive with the Shadows and the corpses. Perhaps you'd wind up floating in the dark for someone else to find. Hearts hammering in your chests, you each see the other party approaching from the opposite side. Eber helps up those he can and then climbs up himself, scrambling over the gates to the stairs, hand clasped firmly around Kumiko's wrist.

Only Isoroku risks looking backward: and all he sees is a mess of teeth.

Even outside the station, when you finally do make it to the street, the rest of the city is quaking, too. Not that this is an unusual occurrence in Japan--yet you know the true circumstances behind it. Eber opens his mouth to issue a command when a sleek black car, lacking identification, screeches to a halt in front of you. A man jumps out of the driver's side that you've not seen before--stark dark green hair, cropped short and stylized, and several piercings are immediately apparent though the bottom half of his face is covered. Hikaru is the other occupant leaving the vehicle. As she hurries for the entrance, she stops and looks at you incredulously.

"Yamada-kun?!" she gapes at you, Yukimura, shocked, and then speaks more generally, "What have you done?!"

The man tosses the car keys at you, Ishikawa, and says in very heavily accented Japanese, "Take the car. Go to the campus before you die."

The two disappear into the station to clean up the mess you've made. A light flashes, and you find that the stairs are now impassable due to an invisible barrier.

Yamada stares outright at them, so stunned to see them when he'd just seen her inside that bizarre room. It was if the tunnels themselves knew her. And who had that man been? He was the last person he ever would have pegged for someone that Seiya would be in contact with. He was rather still which was probably not a good idea considering the surging ground below them. He stared after them, then turned to the others worried, upset and just the tiniest bit scared.

"We can't just let them go down there by themselves! There's only two of them." He had a feeling that at least some of the others were going to disagree with him, but he couldn't stand seeing them just run into that even if they did understand it better than they did.

"What can we do Yamada!" Kojiro yelled as he sorted out the keys. "They've been down there, they know whats down there! They've been further than us!" He tore open the door to the car, his hands still shaking. Just what the hell had they done? What had happened? They never even touched anything!

"Get in the car! Everyone!" He motioned for people to pile in. He could see on Isoroku's face that he two did not want to leave. "Look you two! If you're so hell bent on finding out what's up let me take back those that want to and the three of us can come back. But god damn there is no sense risking everyone!!"

Ohhh no. Isoroku had caught a glimpse of what was down there and, despite his earlier bravado, he was going to err on the side of 'Get the fuck out of here' for now. Besides, they'd just been offered a tailor made escape and it didn't seem like they could even get back in anyway.

"Good idea Yamada; you go in there and help them. I'm sure you will make a difference. Rin!" He called to her as he made haste towards the car, noticing that Kojiro had been given the keys and was already two steps ahead of him; he didn't really care what Eber or Kumiko's plans were.

Eber, ever the dashing hero, did not wait for Kumiko to decide against taking the car; rather, he took the nearest door, the front passenger side, and pulled her into the seat with him.

"Drive!"

Rin needed no encouragement to get into the car. She wanted nothing more than to be as far away from here as she could right now.

Kojiro slammed the driver's side door and put the key in the ignition. He started and looked at Yamada one more time. "God damn it, you idiot. Fucking get in this car, if you die Seiya will blame herself for ever. Now get. The. FUCK. IN."

Yamada, glanced at the station for just moment, but was sure he couldn't have done it without any of them so he shoved himself inside and slammed the door shut, trying to figure out if he was doing the wrong thing even as he did it, aggravated that he seemed to be the only person remotely worried about Seiya and her odd friend.

Kojiro slammed on the gas and drove back to school as quickly as possible. Its a good thing no cops stopped them, he didn't have a license. He pulled into the student parking garage and stopped the vehicle.

He sat still for a moment before suddenly slamming his hands on the wheel in a fit of rage, "Damn it! Damn it! DAMN IT!" He leaned forward on the dash board. Tonight was terrible. And now Seiya had seen Yamada, there only in was exposed.

But at least perhaps...they had gotten a look at this Kuroda person.

Her heart was still thudding in her ears when they reached campus. 'What the hell did we just get ourselves into?' Just what was down there? What caused all of that to happen. 'I hope they are okay...'

She had no idea of telling if Seiya and the unnamed man could hold their own, but she really had no choice but to believe they could.

If this was something they could expect to see again, should they continue to fight or take heed to Seiya's first warning to stay away?

Rin closed her eyes and breathed deeply trying to calm her nerves. The memories of that hand and those bodies only making it harder to accomplish. 'I wonder if Seiya and that other man can really stop it.'

'Goddamn what a rush...' Isoroku's heart was pounding in his chest so fiercely he was certain it must've been filling the car with it's thumping. Who knows, maybe he had come face to face with Beelzebub and lived to tell about it? He would have to remember to thank Kojiro later for pulling him out of there.

After Kojiro's exclamations had died down and the proceeding few fleeting moments of silence in the car with the rest of them, Isoroku started feeling under the back seat, digging through the side door pockets, the back of the driver's seat and so forth.

"Hey Eber, check the glove box will ya?" There had to be something of import in here; maybe even something about that man Seiya had been with. It's not like they'd expected to hand the car over, right?

Yamada was furious on the ride, his blood boiling. More than anyone he was upset with himself. He'd behaved rashly. He'd wanted to continue down that path. He'd chosen what door they entered. He blamed himself for those things, but now the worst of it was having not gone in after Seiya and her companion. Even if it had been an impossibility he felt he should have tried. She had just passed out in cram school today! She didn't have the energy to be going against whatever that was, no mater her experience.

He didn't even notice Yoshida's words to Eber. He didn't hear anything at all. His hands were clenched in fists of rage, eyes trained out the window so he wouldn't focus on any of the people that he now considered traitors as much as companions. How could they have just let them go? How could he have for that matter? He was sure that he'd have died if he'd gone alone, but something in him said he still should have done something. He was exhausted and exhilarated, sure that he'd not sleep tonight. He was going to be worried about Seiya the entire night for sure, but she'd seemed so certain...but then again, so had he when choosing what to do next, and he'd gotten them into nothing but a big, tangled mess.

There had to be some way to sort this out, or some way to protect them, but he was sure at the same time that none of those ways were going to be currently available to him. He hated that they hadn't cared. Hated that everyone had chosen to run even if it was the wise choice, but would never say it. It was obvious that it may be best to leave the tunnels for good, but he was sure at the same that he never would. He had things he needed to accomplish there. He didn't even glance at the others yet, not trusting himself at the moment because he wasn't even sure of his opinions on them at the moment.

Still Mizushima seemed the most relatable, but he seemed unsure of even that at the moment. They needed to calm down and chose a plan of action. They needed things to protect themselves, maybe better weapons, and a way to maintain themselves down there and that was just beyond the issues with the gates and the figures above them in authority.

Finally he remembered that she had seen him and what sort of impact that had. He'd betrayed her trust. He had been reporting to the others, reading her texts and fighting the shadows when she had told the others not to. Was it possible that the side he'd chosen hadn't been the good guys after all? He really wasn't sure.
