Shiny Pokemon

I have a shiny ditto I caught in heartgold, I don't use it all the time but i still bring it out to show off.

I once restarted, encountered a Rattata equivalent in PkMn Silver before I had pokeballs available so I had to kill it to continue.

I also encountered a shiny... Pelicon? PkMn Sapphire? Caught it. IT's got green where it should be blue. I don't like it the pokemon. I wish I had a shiny (something good).

Have you ever used it in a battle? Because I just want to know if it turns into a shiny form of the pokemon it transforms into(which would be awesome but is probably not what happens).

I once encountered a Shiny Pidgey, but my girlfriend threw my DS against the wall. I lost my girlfriend and that Shiny Pidgey forever.

My little brother plays pokemon still, he sits for hours on end looking for pokemon as the only way he'll catch them is if they are male, or rare/shiny. Last time I checked he had about 17 shiny pokemon. ... Course that was about half a year ago

My first-ever shiny Pokemon I found was on Gold in the Dark Cave. It was a shiny pink and green zubat.

And then there was that pink and green shiny whimsur on Emerald, I think it was. I named it Apple.

In my origanal Yellow, on my Aqua Gameboy, I lucked out. BIG TIME. I had a LVL 100 Shiny Mewtwo frontlining my team, until i dropped the cartridge and it reset.

I found a shiny "O" unown when I was trying to get one of every letter. Why was I doing that? Because! Thats why!

I also encountered a shiny version of that legendary lava pokemon at the very end of the game in Diamond/Pearl (I didn't realise it was shiny whilst I was fighting it), I had forgotten to bring a masterball though so I had to knock its health all the way down, put it to sleep, and try to use my other balls to catch it. Like 86 pokeballs of varying levels later I was completly out and decided to just reload my save, go buy a masterball, and try again.

Then when I went back to fight him again he was a different color and I suddenly realised my misfortune. Stupid legendary pokemon.

Found a Shiny Metapod in the original gold. And guess what? This was BEFORE you could get the pokeballs. Much rage ensued.

Found and caught a shiny magikarp years ago and I was so excited , then I realised that I had caught a magikarp.

Unfortunately, I've only encountered the event Shinies. I haven't really gone hunting for them, though.

I think I found one when I was a kid but at that time I didn't know what shiy pokemons are and I don't remember which Pokemon it was but probably one that I had already catched so I just escaped the fight...stupid little me.
