Shiny Pokemon

I caught a Golden Caterpie, once. It turned into a Golden Metapod, and then into a Pink Butterfree. At the time, I REALLY didn't like the colour pink, so I re-loaded and stopped it from ever evolving. I think I got it to level 40-something...

I caught a shiny Taillow in Ruby just walking around Route 116. Its the only one I've found naturally.

I don't actively seek them out but I do like them.

Oh, right, and I found a Shiny Ralts before but traded it for a different shiny.

In Sapphire I found a shiny Clampearl, and my brother found a shiny Sandshrew in Ruby.
Now I have the shiny Raikou, Entei and Suicune from Gamestop, but I don't really consider those as I didn't catch them.

I've had a few shiny through RNG egg hatching, wobbuffet, wailmer, a few other.

Encountered a shiny Dordrio in the Safari Zone in Sapphire. Successfully captured. It now lives in my PC in Diamond.

I total I caught maybe 5, no I don't count red gyarados.

There is no difference, it's just rare
And it's orgasmic if you manage to catch one with a 1/8000 chance of them appearing.

It was in Ruby that I caught not one but TWO shinny Tentacool (I nickname the first one Blu Gel and evolve her into Tentacrul). In Diamond I could have gotten a Shiny Slugma but this was in one of the post game cave. This was when I am force to pair up with an npc who had a Gravalar and I was using my Pelipper. Pelipper had mostly flying or water move so I taget the other Pokemon (this is a dual encounter due to being pair up) but the idiotic NPC fainted Slugma. To make thing worse I learn afterward that you can use you Pokemon to target the NPC Pokemon but I felt like back stabbing the f******!
Also in Diamond I used the thing to shake the grass (I forgot what its called) and I encounter a very bright shaken grass which mean a shiny Pokemon in that grass but before I reach it, I got suck into a random encounter battle.
I hope that lady luck would favour me in the upcoming Black and White game.

Some sort of sickly yellow Riolu, I think
Gastly with blue gas
Treecko, forgot the color
Lighter blue Dialga

Glaceon and Leafeon, difference isn't very noticable :\
White Eevee
Blue flame Ponyta
Blue Spiritomb

And of course, red gyarados ;p
