Shiny Pokemon

I've got a few shinies on my Soul Silver game, Shiny Vulpix(now Ninetails), the well known Red Gyrados, oh and I traded for a shiny Eevee too, still trying to decide what to evolve it into...

I caught myself a shiny Wooper about 6 months ago. Too bad I don't like using Woopers.

In pokemon silver, I got a shiny ditto, and a shiny beedrill.

I encountered and caught a Shiny Ditto in Fire Red. Lucked out, I did. It even transforms into a shiny version of whatever pokemon it's copying. ^_^

I think I found a shiny lapras, geodude, and growlithe before. Never caught any of them. Wait, nvm I just remembered I caught a shiny hoot hoot once.

I caught a shiny Electrike in Emerald. It was the first Electrike I'd ever seen so I thought they were all supposed to be blue. Womp womp.

I had a shiny Nidoran male and a shiny Dustox then I gave my game a loan to someone and they lost the game.

Cyndaquil(when i picked my starter, it was female and shiny and when i first picked it)

Gible (Second gible i found, third in that safari zone area, male)

Ho-oh (when i went to go catch it, without soft resetting)

Latias (Without soft resetting, but it took me six different tries to catch her. Caught her between Celadon and Saffron)

These were all in one play through, without cheating. and yes, i did not include the red Gyrados.

Believe if you want, but i will say this. On any of those games, i've played atleast 250+ hours, and the one with the least amount of hours played is Crystal

<spoiler=Shiny List 4>Well, its time for an update. I have found THREE, yes, THREE new shinies, in my HeartGold since my first post. here is the list so far (this just heart gold alone):

And my Abra (tried to teleport cuase its on one of the early routes, but i'm glad i had my arena trap dugtrio)

I'm excited. the list is growing.

<spoiler=Shiny List 5>OH! bred a few more. adding to the lists (these were eggs, i have boxes just FULL of eggs)

in my Heart Gold. This is out of some... what is it? 30 pokemon per box... i have... five just eggs and a sixth box with eighteen more in. So thats... 168 eggs. And so far i hatched... 70 of them, so i found four (remember, odds of shiny by breeding is 1 in 64):

Larvitar (girl, adamant, says she likes to thrash around. I named Aunt Flo just to be a jerk)

Murkrow (male, unfortunately. I need a female one for the theme)

Swablu (trying to get all the dragons i can since its probably going ot turn upside down on the smogon lists)

and another eevee, whihc i'm going to turn into a Flareon

More will come, cause I found a few, but I need to check my Heart Gold game. Though it should be said, on all those games I had at least 250+ hrs of gameplay, and of that... probably the average is 25-50 beating all the gyms, the rest is just screwing around and EV training. I know on my pearl I had 400+ hrs. On my HG I've got close to 600hrs

I've hatched a shiny Turtwig, downloaded the shiny Pichu Mystery Gift, caught a shiny Ponyta in Fire Red and caught a shiny Claydol in Emerald. I use the Claydol in one of my Battle Revolution passes, but its not exactly brilliant.

While taking my friend to a Pokemon tournament I was in (I failed first round, hooray for fucking Mewtwo), he and I hit a massive shiny spree. This was back when Emerald was new, and I was aware of how rare these things were...

...He found a Skarmory and a Tropius on the 2-hour drive down. Pretty awesome.

On the way back, I hatched a shiny Beldum, decided to go catch a Spinda for no apparent reason, and ended up finding identical shiny Spindas. ...just kind of insane odds of that, ya know. Then, when I went to pick up one of my specially bred Treeckos (bred Treecko with a Shelgon for Crunch and Dragonbreath), I hatched it and it was shiny too.

My 12-year-old mind was blown.

So I still say that trip was worth it, if only for the good times and shinies.

Oh, I forgot to mention. I also got a Celebi from the events at the tournament. Still have him. SO HAPPY

The reason I started this thread is because I ran into a shiny gastly a few minutes ago(in the Safari Zone of HG) and it got away(how sad). It was the first non-story related shiny pokemon I ran into.

weird, my first and only shiny encounter was with a gastly. only i did manage to catch it. but i was pissed because when i tried to evolve it, the haunter didnt become shiny. so i restarted my last save and just kept it as a gastly.

I got a shiny Furret in the original Silver. I don't know how it was shiny, it looked exactly like a normal one to me. I've currently got a green Kakuna in SoulSilver, which I evolved into a green Beedril. I think it's cool ^.^

I have a shiny Rayquaza, a shiny Raikou (Not the event), a shiny Charizard, and a shiny Sazandora.

I've been playing since the beginning, and FINALLY in Pearl I got my first shiny. It was a Gastly, and it had blue smoke. Gastlys look super-awesome with blue smoke.

This WAS after I had already beaten the game, so I didn't put it in my party, but I was just so happy to have finally caught one. And the cherry on top was that it also had Pokerus. What are the odds of THAT?

Other than that, I once got a golden Magikarp in a trade.
