I'm not very good with names. Someone will tell me their name and literally three seconds later I will turn back and say "Sorry, I forgot your name. Heh...." I lot of people have said I may have short term memory loss because of this but, I don't.

either that or in math classes, if i haven't heard it before it will be gone by the time i leave said class

Ah, same here. If it's important, I really have to try hard to remember it. Useless things like where things are in games, on the other hand, pop into my head as soon as I need them.

I always forget what I've written in comments and stuff online, and whenever I see a thingy telling me someones replied to me I think "Oh Crap, hope it isn't because I wrote something stupid".

The thing I've found works for me is to muck around with their last/first name and make a ridiculous vignette.


Some times it works, well most the time it works, but sometimes it leaves me chortling after having just met someone...which generally leads to pretty uncomfortable situation as they think I'm laughing at them. lulz

This quite hilarious for my friends when I try to describe a book and the main character is "that guy... you know the one whose name began with a T."

It takes me ages to remember names, so many times I don't bother if its a one time meeting like a party. I'm kinda scared how good I have gotten at holding a conversation without using a person's name.
