Shoot the Limbs- A Dead Space RPG- Chapter 2: The Surface

John awakes just in time to see the nearly crushed hull of the mining vessel slam into the Ishimura. It pierces the hull and, for a while, seems to be flying straight through the ship. It finally grinds to a halt. John crawls from the wreckage. Somebody tackles him. It's one of the crewmen who also thought to put on a helmet. He shouts over the helmet radio "Damn it! Why did you do it?! We were out, and you had to pull us back in!" At this point, he has John pinned and is pulling punches. John's left hand sneaks over and takes a relatively large piece of rubble. He bashes the piece against the man's helmet, cracking it. He falls to his knees, choking. "Sorry about that." John says.

OOC: William Dragon is going up for auction. There is an opportunity to claim him. It will last until New Year's Day. If he is not claimed by then, he will be killed off.

Having made her announcment Ilundra went back to the baracade she build and found that it was to well build to rip appart.
swearing to herself she decided to employ an old trick and going over to the navigation computor she opened it up and found the power core placing it in the center of the baracade she hid behind the captans chair and fired a shot off blowing up the core and destroying the baracade. walking back to the door there were some scorches on it but no damage. she opened it and walked back to the pod to make sure no one jumped ship without her.

After killing the man, John hits the emergency depressurize switch. The pressure moves to a habitable level, and breathable oxygen is pumped in. John takes off his helmet just in time to see Walker running toward him shouting "Where are we going?" "Uhhh... I don't know. Here, take this." John picks up a retro crowbar. He hands another to Walker. "Here, help me get this thing open." he says as he gestures toward the executive escape pod, which is lodged deep inside of the mining vessel.

"Well, I said we needed to get this thing open. Don't you listen?" John says as he begins to pry open the pod doors.

Chris looked into the darkness, and yelled for help. "Help! Ilundra, John..guys??" "Where is everyone?" Chris muttered to himself. Feeling a sudden sharp pain in his leg, Chris quickly looked down. "Shit! I'm still hurt..." he swore under his breath. Chris heard Ilundra's voice over the intercom. He felt too much pain to move and so reached for his comm. unit. "USAF Officer Chris Bryans, requesting assistance. If anyone can hear me, I'm in a vent near the bridge, sustained injury to the leg." "...what's the point..." he said. Going through his basic medical kit, he pulled out the canister of bio-foam and sprayed what little was left on his wound. "Now...I wait..."

hearing the radio at her hip crackle Ilundra pulled it out amazed that the thing still worked

"USAF Officer Chris Bryans, requesting assistance. If anyone can hear me, I'm in a vent near the bridge, sustained injury to the leg.""

"well it appears that no one bothered to get chris out of the vent were I left him." Ilundra muttered to herself climbing into the servace shaft.
it was dark so she began reaching for her flashlight when a green glow enveloped her, looking around she was dismayed to find it was comming from her... she had become bioluminecent.
thinking back to the drugs she had taken she reached a startaling conclusion the morphine had gotten rid of her pain, the stem cells had turned her into metal and the bio-foam was making her luminus.
she wondered how many more changes she had before the infection clamed her. shaking that thought from her head she crawled down the vent until she reached Chris and picking him up she pulled him roughly back through the vent and layed him down in the bridge crew escape pod.

heading back into the bridge she made another update "20 MINUTES UNTIL POD LAUNCH. AND WHO THE FUCK DECIDED TO LEAVE CHRIS IN THE VENT?"

"Ya! Who the fuck decided to leave me behind??" Chris shouted.

"Thanks. Thought I was going to be here all day..." Chris said.

I think Chris was just rescued by two different people. I took him to the escape pod and abysss took him to john so...were is he?

Ilundra grabs the intercom and presses the talk butten "ALL REMAINING PERSONEL GET TO THE COMMAND BRIDGE IN 10 MINUTES FOR EMERGINCY DUSTOFF! REPEAT 10 MINUTES TILL THE SHUTTLE LEAVES!"

 

[Sosakitty]

"Almost...got it! " John grunts as his old-fashioned crowbar separates the executive pod doors. He peers inside.

OOC: I would like to add more, but I have to wait for the guys in the executive pod to say something.

"well mister Vladimir I hate to ruin your epic quest to destroy the ship after we leave but the ship masters RIG is still in the Bridge you can use his codes... if you remove the corpse first that is."
turning to the other survivors she said "alright almost time to leave this god forsaken place so brab a seat in the pod and buckle up."
