Name:Daniel Graves
age:23
Height 5'9"
Occupation: Engineer
Specialty: Mechanical Expertise
Equipment: Plasma Cutter, has a RIG but is currently separated from it.
Appearance: Long, Messy black hair and bloodshot blue eyes (lack of sleep)
Description: From a young age it was apparent that Daniel had a natural aptitude for machinery of all kind. By the age of 20 Daniel had already received his degree in engineering, to the chagrin of his well-to-do family. After a particularly fierce conflict with his father Daniel decided to try his luck off-world, serving on a number of ships until finally landing himself a position aboard the renowned flagship of the planetcracker fleet, the USG Ishimura. Soon after things promptly went straight to hell....

The cacophony of agonized screams, gunshots, and inhuman howls that had reverberated throughout the Ishimura had finally come to an end, with only the occasional staccato burst of gunfire to mark the passing of another crew member or monstrous former crew member. Daniel had long stopped counting them, because it hardly seemed to matter anymore. The ship was in the hands...claws of those monsters now. For every remaining human they killed another one of their kind would awaken, and soon there would be no-one left for them to hunt. Well, except for him of course.
With that grim thought Daniel momentarily glanced down at the plasma cutter cradled loosely in his hand, not for the first time. " No way am I going to end up like that", he declared vehemently to himself. Glancing around at the monitors that surrounded him painted a rather dark picture for the near future however. The Ishimura was stuck in a decaying orbit over the colony world, and there was no one else around to correct it. If something wasn't done soon there wouldn't be much left of the monsters or the ship.
The room Daniel was hiding in was located only a floor away from the bridge, but he had heard something large moving around up there when he first ran to the elevator. Now he simply sat there and hid, watching as the monitors showed the ship's condition growing worse and worse. The Ishimura's comm's array was disabled as well, preventing him from so much as calling for help.
Finally he had enough of sitting around. It had been bad enough watching Ensign Lovell die, pulled screaming into a vent until only his horrified face remained hanging out. But now he was going to sit around and watch everyone left on the ship die? Not a chance. Pushing himself out of the chair he grabbed a nearby canister of medi-gel and headed over to the elevator. As the doors slid closed a single thought crossed his mind: " If the ship is falling to pieces, it's an engineer's duty to fix it, right?"

as the monsters began crawling through the air vent Ilundra looked around and saw the door opening controls for the airlock with a great struggle she got up and fired a round into the armor covering over the controls and pulled of the casing to reveal a mess of wires and circuitry and there behind some wires was what she was looking for a POWER COIL to run the door and controls she pulled it out of its wires and lobbed it into the air duct and then fired her pistol rounds into the vent along with it breaking the power core and causing fire to erupt into the vent and through the open ducts. Ilundra yelled "GET DOWN." before turning around and lying prone on the floor.
as the fire began heating the back of her armor she activated her suits cooling system.
after a few seconds the fire died down and the air ducts glowed red hot before melting in the middle.
as the air ducts fell away a dozen burnt corpses fell to the floor with them.

"well we cant use that airlock anymore, so I think we should head to medical before more of them show up."

Looking at his ID, Chris could tell that Walker was a guard on the Ishimura. Quick to identify himself, Chris said, "USAF Officer Chris Bryans! Mr...uhh..Walker, how bad is the infection around the ship?"

"Right, conserving ammo. That should be our priority...well, apart from getting Ilundra to the medical bay!" "Besides, I only have a few rounds left.." Chris said, wearily looking at the pistol magazine.

Hearing voices outside improves Allen's mood but he still needs to find a way to break this quarantine mode. Searching the room he finds,
*A mutilated corpse
*Some old boxes (Some quite heavy to lift)
*200 credits
*Some plasma charges (I have no use for them yet so I will hold onto them.)
"Well lets see what this poor fella has on him." Searching....
Allen found,
*plasma cutter
*statis module
"Yay! A weapon and some statis! Well lets see this monster in the closet..." Ok so how do I use this thing? Allen thinks as he presses a red button. Beeping noises and the business end starts up with blue guide lights pointing a crosshair. "Well that works... and this trigger my guess fires..." Allen opens the closet and finds after a good look that the necromorph is missing his arms. Most likely the corpse did that work for Allen but took an injury. "Ok lets end this..." Shots ring as the head falls off. *Quarantine Mode Ended* a computer rings. "Lets get moving! Open Sesame!" He hears some footsteps over at the medical bay and walks over to see 2 alive survivors named Chris and Walker. "You guys ok?"

"No...well...we should be ok..." Glancing quickly at Ilundra, Chris said, "As for her...unless we can get to the closest medical bay or at least get some decent medical supplies, she won't be with us for long..." Realizing he had forgotten to introduce himself to the stranger, Chris said, "Hi, my name's Chris Bryans. I'm an officer from the USAF who was assigned to this ship." Motioning to Walker and John, Chris introduced the two to the stranger, "This is Walker and John. They're fellow survivors of the infection." Looking at the 4 survivors, Chris said, "Well, guess we've got a group here. We should get a move on it before more of those creatures show up!" "Oh, and we need to make a makeshift stretcher for Ilundra."

By the time the elevator pinged to a stop on the command deck floor Daniel had lost some of the reckless cockiness that had flared up when he had decided to finally set off into the ship. This was in part due to the realization that without his RIG he was nearly defenseless against any of those...things. If one of them were to sneak up on me now there be nothing to stop 'em from sinking those freakish scythe-limbs into my back, and start ripping and tearing... Daniel closed off the disturbing thought before it could shake him even worse than he was already. To get his RIG he'd have to venture back down into engineering...which was the last place he had seen those corpse-creatures, though he wasn't going to fool himself into thinking they weren't everywhere else on the ship as well.

So, engineering then. He'd just run down to his locker, slide his ID card in...as he thought through his plan he was searching his pockets, and when he couldn't find the item in question he started searching more intently. Finally his hands froze as the realization hit him. Shit! I must have left my ID card down there when I was talking to Nicole the other day! And medical was the first place those monsters started appearing...this isn't going to end well . Taking a few careful steps out of the elevator, Daniel made a run for the door when things looked clear. As he passed through darkened, bloodstained corridors he could only hope the tram system was still online, or he wasn't going anywhere.

"I don't need a stretcher I can walk with you guys It will be faster then building a stretcher.
with a groan Ilundra rises to her feet and standing unsteadily, some of the congealed bio-foam was leaking out of her stomach "but If I am going to go any ware I will need the rest of that bio-foam or Im likely to bleed out on the way."

"Fine." John says grudgingly as he carefully applies the bio-foam. "There's a vending machine down the hall, and I know it has a downloadable, holographic map. It's pretty swarming with monsters. So, who wants to go first?

"anyway I am dieing and need to get to the medical bay so if you will be so kind as to move."
