Runescape is the shortest game i've ever played, i gave it up after 3 months because my boyfriend made me realize that its just a piece of Turd! *laugh out loud*
Yes, that was short, even for an Amiga game. But good!
And Quest for Booty was WAY short, but it wasn't meant to be more than an episode. Still, they advertised it as a 4 hour game, but I beat it in 2 without excertíng myself overmuch. The bad parts were that it didn't have ANY new weapons or even one secret area, just more of the same in two or three different locations. I can forgive it because of the end movie, though.
CoD4 on easy. If it werent for all the die respawn die respawn repeat sections on the harder difficulties the game could be completed in 2 hours max.
Condemned 1 would have lasted under an hour too if ethan wasn't so damn slow(i walk faster that that guy sprints) And Bloodshot PC is still nowhere in sight.
Full throttle.
Good game, but way to short.
Bought it, finished it about 4 hours later, felt like I was robbed.
I was a kid and video games were a lot of money, bought one every couple of months.
It sucked.
Portal isn't that short, not if you count all the added challenges (time, difficulty, portal limit).
Easily Monsters Inc: Scare Island. I( had to stop when i was a kid for fear of completing it 100% in a day and this was when i was terrivble at video games.
An honourable mention to Tony Hawk's Underground 2 (or rather dishonorable) i beat it on "sick in a day but i got pretty good at those sort of games. I beat it 100% in two days.
Shortest game for me? (excluding portal and casual games, etc...) Probably that one Gundam game for Dreamcast. I beat all nine or so missions in a matter of hours. After finishing the game, you're given a few uber weapons; sooo....I beat it again that same day in even less time... (beam rifle = instawin.)
While that's about the shortest I've played (that I can remember) there have been plenty of other rather short games. The worst are those action games with no real extracontent after beating the game. I mean, come on, at least give me a special doo-dad to play through the game again with...
