Yes they should be banned. Isn't that why you report them?

Just don't tell them that you reported them so that way it will be too late for them to tool on you, then congratulations! You just gave him a swift kick in the balls. =D

It was smart to report him but not so smart to tell him that you reported him. But yes people like that should be banned.

Should have made the argument go longer. Trolling trolls is the funnest thing. Especially if you can just keep super calm and collected while they're flipping shit, it's too funny.

OK, so this morning i get online and see some random guy messages me, and i don't know who it is. He tells me he has a mod, so I reported him and told him that i did. then he comes back to me saying this.
"i reported u too nd guess what i file 100 complaints to your account n all my friends will too for trying to fuck with me mother fucker, i will steal your ip band soon, and no shitty comebacks plz cus your blocked! fucking **** stfu"
i told him that he just broke 5 rules in those 2 letters and i reported him for each offense, then used some choice words in response to his.
But the main point is, do you think idiots who mod and then do crap like this deserve to be on xbox live.
Also, for those who think i should have kept to myself, why?
Whenever I'm in a game and I see someone using a mod, I lie to them and kindly tell them I'm the moderator of the server and if I see them using the mod again I'll ban their account. It's completely untrue but 99.999999% of the time they person will reply and apoligize for cheating. Its pretty hilarious. But I mainly do it because I don't like losing to cheaters. You should try it some time.

I don't play game's you can cheat in, like CoD, but that does sound fun

I think both him and you should be banned from X-box Live, the way I see it is you provoked him and probably aren't giving the full story. You could have acted responsibly and just blocked and reported him but instead you chose to provoke him. I really wish there was a way to avoid all the people who can't act sensibly and maturely when I'm playing games online...

I think he definitely deserves to be banned...

If I see a modder I always report them.

He's talking shit... he probably can't hack at all and gets them all online.
seconded. this blokes a cu*t, just ignore him, he probably has issues turning his xbox on, i wouldn't worry about it.

I don't send any messages to people I file complaints against. There's no point, they will always reply in a fashion similar to this.

Don't provoke them in the future.

Yeah, it's even specifically against the rules of Xbox Live to mod the thing. And no one even does cool mods like on PC (Not that I think it's even possible on the 360). It's always aimbots and max-level-lobbies.

You're in the clear, though, because you didn't do anything wrong and he's just a dick.
there is one...when you are able to burn the games fully to the hard drive =] (i dont have it anymore...my cousin lent me his, had about 100 games on there, just about hollywood videos entire selection)

OT: good job, most modding/hacking is incredibly dumb, especially ONLINE, internet "tough guys" can go fuck off.

I think that people who send messages advertising a level boosting lobby for 1600 microsoft points should not be banned from xbox live, but instead they should be banned from sending any messages at all, thus forcing them to offer level boosting lobbies via snail mail.

this is why i avoid online games. weird thing is that this guy might be someone normal in real life that you might even be friends with.

some ppl become absolute assholes when they log onto the internets bcuz they are repressed and humiliated during their day job, or they are suffering self-confidence issues due to lack of employment

he should be banned, and you shouldnt have responded at all

I wish XBL Moderators were more clearly labeled, so this kind of information could be put through the proper channels. We have to realize that we are paying for this service. Microsoft has to do something to curtail this kind of thing. I got a random game invite and message from someone. They could obviously see my info, because they said my real name, and they haven't responded back.
