Should I buy Far Cry 2?

I loved the single player, and making maps is a blast. It can definitely get repetitive but if you expirement with different weapons/tactics it can be alot of fun(Stealth in this game is a blast, use silenced weapons and HEADSHOTS ONLY and you'll be fine). If you go into it expecting another straight forward, action packed shooter you'll be dissapointed.

It's actually pretty good. Not sure why it gets such a bad rep around these parts. I absolutely loved the setting.

Edit: Okay it would have been good if factions matter, being constantly attacked sucked, it's better when in say Stalker or Fallout 3 you see someone from a distance and then are cautious about whether or not they're a potential ally or enemy.

Far Cry 2 is only 20 bucks at some local store I go to, so I don't know if I should go get it or not. IDK anything about the game, so can you give me some headsup about it?

Not sure what Euro:$ is but if that is under 15 euro then it is a good enough price as the game isn't the best. You can't be stealthy in it at all and everything so reptitive also buddies are a load of crap but if you play it and finsih you will know why.

It's a very pretty game, just don't expect to be entertained after the first 10 missions or so, after that it's pretty much the same all over. It's not horrible, but it's not really good either. I don't know, I guess you should find out for yourself if it's worth it to you.

If you can handle the game being fairly long and slow then yes it's a brilliant experience and fairly unique.

If you have ADD like most of the people commenting then no, don't get it.
