Yeah they did, as soon as he met her he licked her and from then on he has always been like a dad, he is often found with her snuggled in a ball on a cushion, he always looks out for where she is and if he can't find her he will keep searching the house restless until he does. It's really nice, and it was really suprising, I didn't think he would get along with her since he doesn't get along with the others. Rosie tries to mother Smudge too, she often licks and cleans Smudge, we have to stop her sometimes, she tries to pick Smudge up like she would a puppy. It might be because when we first got Smudge, she was so very tiny, you could pick her up in one hand, we think she was taken away from her mother too early. We rescued her, my mum works at a school and a student asked her to take the kitten, as it isn't wanted at her home. We think she was taken away a month or so too early from her mum. So that could be why. It's hard to say, it's the only case I've ever heard of where an older cat likes a new kitten straight away. Tribble is a rescue cat too though, we saved him ourselves from an abusive home.Nasrin said:I hope if I got another kitten that Boba would be as nice to it as Tribble and Smudge. Did they get along right away?Padwolf said:Here are all my pets: In order, the first picture are my cat and kitten, Tribble and Smudge. Tribble is a male, but he is like a dad to Smudge. It's adorable. The second is my cat Stretchy. The third is my Rotty Rosie, the last is my Belgium Shephard Regan.
Also Regan is gorgeous.
And thank you
