Spaced was a brilliant show. I don't think it was cancelled exactly, but they're not making any more episodes right now.
Also Firefly of course.

the BBC is good at ending shows before they get un-funny (The Office, Faulty Towers ect.) so it might have been for the best.SidVicious said:Spaced was a brilliant show. I don't think it was cancelled exactly, but they're not making any more episodes right now.

Rurouni Kenshin, like most animes, wasn't canceled, it was finished.NinjaSkills said:I'm gonna have to agree with Invader Zim and Samurai Jack but the biggest show that shouldn't have been canceled is...
Rurouni Kenshin
As campy as that show was, I really liked it too! It had a really cool back-story as well.Ice Storm said:Jericho. I miss that show. Right when it was getting to the good part.
I third Jericho what were they thinking to cancel the show right when they got the bomb.Ice Storm said:Jericho. I miss that show. Right when it was getting to the good part.
Well, to be fair, at least Generation Kill finished its run. They only intended to make seven episodes. It wasn't like, say, Firefly or Season 3 of The Unit (Though, Season 3 of The Unit wasn't because the series had poor ratings, it was because of the damned writer's strike), which were canceled before the full run could finish, or Over There, which was canceled because the American public didn't want to see a show about the Iraq War yet back in 2005.Bulletinmybrain said:Generation Kill: Mini-series but it was fucking awesome and I wish it was much longer.
This was what I thought of when I saw this thread. It's sad that the series only lasted three seasons. I will never forget the quote: "Don't leave your Uncle T-Bag hangin'!!" It's simply too funny a show to quote both in, and out of context.mokes310 said:Arrested Development
17 is the age that invader zim appealed to the most.mokes310 said:I just wiki'd it, and it was on Nickelodeon, and first aired in March of 2001, which explains why I knew nothing about it (17 at the time).ninjablu said:Inv. Zim was on Cartoon Network I believe. It was a cartoon by the same guy who wrote the "Johny the Homicidal Maniac" Comics. IT was canceled after a much debated "pigs world" episode which depicted a reverse meat factory in which pigs ruled and humans were killed.
Ditto on Firefly.

Dilbert was a great little cartoon.. the line I will always remember is when they did the blood drive, and they were disqualifying people.sv93 said:Dilbert and Futurama best shows ever!
Agreed. The civil war began with freaking US jets dukin' it out between one another and then... *Canceled*Reasonable Doubt said:I third Jericho what were they thinking to cancel the show right when they got the bomb.Ice Storm said:Jericho.
