The lack of SWAT Kats in this thread is disappointing.
Though, not nearly as disappointing as the lack of Space Ghost: Coast to Coast.

Ew, Brad Pitt. The show is much too serious for him, but I don't know, he could surprise me. He was good in Seven.Ieyke said:It is.
"True Detective's first season will follow the the 17-year hunt for the killer with following seasons replacing the cast and story -- a similar format that FX has employed for its freshman hit American Horror Story"
Brad Pitt is rumored to be starring in season 2.
Immediately thought this. God that was a good show, and even went out with an awesome setup for a higher-production value miniseries or movie. Instead we got a lackluster graphic novel.tippy2k2 said:Jericho [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0805663/]
An incredibly cool concept (the world has gone and nuked itself but many small towns survived because nuking them seemed like a waste of a good nuke) and the aftermath of the situation. It takes place in Smalltown (Jericho), America and is about the town figuring out what the hell to do about the fact that everything is all kinds of destroyed now.
No infrastructure, no utilities, no government, no nothing. The town has to figure out how to keep from tearing itself apart while also figuring out what might still be out there. A small sub-plot also involved some of them trying to figure out WHY the world went batshit crazy and nuked the hell out of itself...
Had one full season before it was canceled. Fan outcry eventually got it a halfish season 2 so that it could tie up some loose ends but it ends with most everything unresolved. "Season 3" and beyond have now become graphic novels but I don't think that it's nearly as good as the show was.
It's on Netflix so I would strongly recommend it if you want something a little different to watch.
I think Futurama's had its fair run. Over ten seasons is pretty damned respectable. Plus, it was starting to lose a bit of its charm and just go for dumb humor.Ieyke said:Futurma REALLY needs to come back. That show is just dead on. So dead on that science continuously invents things that Futurama dreamt up long ago. Also, it's about a million times better than The Simpsons or Family Guy or any of those related shows. Unlike those, which are pretty dumb most of the time, Futurama was pretty damn brilliant basically always.
absolutely not my good sir or madam! I flipping loved Danny Phantom!fat american said:I guess I'm the only person on this forum who likes Danny Phantom, then. It's probably never going to be seeing the light of day anyways, seeing as how it got cancelled for decent reasons(not making money). At least it got some movies for closure.
Earth 2! All I remember from that show is tim curry acting CRAZY. Not much of a stretch for him, I know, but I remember it being glorious. I'm inDirgeNovak said:Community is the obvious answer. I'm still seething over that cancellation.
I also wouldn't spit on an Earth 2 reboot. That show was awesome.
And if we're talking nonfiction too, Good Eats should never have ended. I know Alton Brown's started making Good Eats-esque videos on his YouTube account, but it's not the same without the crazy characters and belching sock puppets.
Eh, even with Harmon back, I don't think it was as good as it was in season 2. Season 3 and 5 were fun but a little too gimmicky IMO. 1 was decent in the first half and great in the second half. Troy leaving also hurt the show. He was my favourite character.Keystone said:Community is the only show I really want brought back at the moment.
Well there's the OVA in September, so git hyped!Sean Hollyman said:I want another series of Kill La Kill, the ending implied there was more to come and I'm still waiting T___T
He was only in three episodes, but he sure had a memorable performance. Oh, poppet!trunkage said:Earth 2! All I remember from that show is tim curry acting CRAZY. Not much of a stretch for him, I know, but I remember it being glorious. I'm in
That's true of The Simpsons, but not Futurama.fat american said:I think Futurama's had its fair run. Over ten seasons is pretty damned respectable.
